I'm tempted to watch SyFy's version - but I really only watch it for the Mad Hatter - namely the ending xD;

I've watched a bit of the syfy one. But i'd like to see it from beginning to end.

I loved Tim Burton's AiW and I am fond of the Disney version. However, I was horribly disappointed in the Syfy miniseries. I expected better after Tinman. That was well done (and was a similar premise). Syfy's Alice was somewhat lackluster and the acting was pretty awful, like they didn't pay the famous actors enough for them to give it their all, and the nobodies just weren't very good. Hatter was alright, as was the Knight. Alice was just plain awful. *shrugs* I had heard so many good things about it, but it really failed epically in my opinion. They could have done a much better job with it. I did like the ending okay.

I'd love to see the Looking Glass Wars series of books turned into films. They could be really good. More like what I was expecting when I watched Alice. If you haven't read them and you like Alice in Wonderland, you should really check them out. They are really well written and keep the feel of the actual books while giving it a very cool twist.

I'll admit, some of the acting was pretty bad - but over all it was really good and I rather liked it :3

And only later on did parts annoy me because of the beyondddd dramatization that was just annoying haha

What's it about?

It is difficult to explain without spoiling it. It is based of the original books but says that Lewis Carroll was told about Wonderland but got it all twisted up. In the book, Alice is from Wonderland originally and she gets sent to our world to protect her....can't really say much more without spoiling too much. Anyway, you really should check them out.
