I tend to hoard my commons. They make such pretty rainbows all sorted out in my drawers. :)

I never sell my items. I think its a rather useless thing to do. I'll want them later on, or I'll be able to use them, so I dont see the purpose in selling them.

I did for awhile, then was strapped for cash...so I sold them all. :(

I've gotten quite a few CIs/EIs though. :3

I just save up my gold, usually. But I spend it on events, mainly. And just randomly buy stuff from time to time. Just whatever is needed for an avi that i'm working on.

I generally save up for outfits and CIs or EIs, depending on what I'm in the mood for. Not for events, necessarily. My focus tends to be more on the rares. The commons I can't buy with currency will still be there when I need them. :)

That's my attitude too. The commons will always be there, so there isn't any rush to collect them. Saying that I like to be dressed so I'll usually have a couple commons on me to dress myself up in.

It's kinda nice not being loaded with commons actually as I heard it starts to get to be a pain after you've gotten so many.

I don't have all that many commons, so no matter what the theme, it will be quite the challenge.
I've sold a few commons that I either got and then didn't like, or got doubles of while an event was going on and didn't notice until later.

I've only got a few EI/CI's that I'm looking for, so I funnel money for that over to my mule any time I get a chance and then save up for cheap commons during events when it's close - like now. Normally, I don't let my main have more than 1k without dumping the rest into the mule, but I want to have plenty so I can run a thread this Celes. I hope it doesn't flop. >.>'

Commons aren't hard to keep sorted. It takes a lot of drawers, though, and you have to keep up with it...

I have enough CI's and EI's as is, so instead I just get the new event commons that I like. They are going to stay in the stores, yes, but during events they're half price. Most CI's and EI's aren't changing in price that much. But I usually spend well over 20k during the events each time.

I try to never have more than 1k on my main, or I just wait until it gets around a solid K (2k, 3k, etc.), and send it to my mule. So much easier to save up that way.

And it has been up since the 12th. They usually always put the pre-event threads up on the front page and in an announcement. I wonder if they're avoiding doing that so that not as many people know, so that they wont have people pissed off if they take longer to get it started than a thread would imply.

Jelly sent out a mass *ping* email to everyone who was online when they started the thread. Which didn't help anyone who wasn't online at the time. It had a MASS of people for about half an hour, and then after that first rush of people left - well... few people have wandered in. There's always someone in there though, talking about strange things.

I'm guessing it's because it's not really 'official'. That way if they don't manage to pull of the event before Halloween - they can say it was because we didn't manage to get enough activity in the thread to 'persuade' the Goddesses to grant us with their presence.... or something? Just my guess. But I'm a cynic like that.

They better NOT skip my favorite event.

Well, if it isn't next week, Linn will be happy about not missing it. So that's good. :) It'll come when it does. And that there is a thread about it suggests that it will.

In theory, it's supposed to start next week, and then end just in time for the Halloween event - but looking at the calendar and keeping in mind how long these things usually run, there seems to be some bleedover time. I don't know how they're going to manage it. :(

Might also depend on how glitchy the event turns out to be. Or rather, whether Afrodonkey decides to be good.

Insomniac had been busy and forgot about the event, I think he said. Then he didn't have the time to do it or something, and pushed it way forward. He'd told me about it in his one thread once, but I can't remember his exact words. Either way, its been taking a hell of a long time to get done. Haha. And more than likely it'll really mess up a lot of plans and make it hard for people. Especially money-wise, i'd say. I'm sure I wont be able to earn enough gold after CP to get much for the Halloween event, especially with the stupid game max drop.

I've been pushing myself to post a lot more since then. I think I've actually made more from my random posts than I did from the extra Game gold that I've lost. I just have to make sure to put in more than a quick one-line reply most of the time and it stacks up. That and I invaded the Book forum when I got bored the other night because no one was on....

If the back to back events pinch my pockets too much, I'll probably dip into my mule's stash for a few things.

*shrugs* I wouldn't be heartbroken if they couldn't manage a CP event.
