That was a quote from the Dub episode "cruise blues" where Serena tries to win tickets for the cruise but Raye comes along and uses 'that weird power of hers' to win. Serena had many, many, cakes of consolation soap =/

lol, Yami- :roll: It isn't very fair to ask people to vote for you specifically. I sometimes joke around but in the end I just ask people to vote on the contest. It's supposed too be an avatar contest, not a popularity contest. *frowns* I'd never win anything if people had to actually like me. O_o' lol....sigh....Besides, how will we know which avi people really like the best if people skew the votes by politicking for them. Sorry, that just bothers me. I'm also tired and cranky so it may be bothering me an inordinate amount right now. Anyway, I'm gonna go ahead and vote now. Hope I'm not too late. I was out of town all day yesterday and today. I once entered a Daria coplay on the Gaia Arena and was EATEN ALIVE.
One person said "I did a Daria cosplay, thanks for copying my idea." And then everyone went batshit about how I was copying and they shouldn't vote for me. It was the first time I'd even been to the arena at all and it wasn't like you vote for EVERY avatar EVERY time anyway. Needless to say, I did not enter anything ever again. |
I... actually entered a few times. (Okay, ten, now that I'm looking at it.) Mostly original outfits, though. Only two cosplays, and neither of them did all that well. I did get in the top ten once, but that was with guild backing. :sweat: You really kinda need that to mitigate downvoters. So yeah. Popularity contest. (I do not spend much time on Gaia anymore.)
This sort of contest is a lot more fun and a lot more fair. |
