Same here. I sort of pop in once in a while to see what's evolved, and sometimes change my avi. (At the moment I'm looking at my old Arena entries, and I still like my monochrome centaur as she is, so...)

Yeah. I hate the arena on Gaia. It is only one of the many reasons I dislike popularity contests. I'd almost rather our usernames not be posted with the entries just to avoid favoritism like that. *sigh* Wouldn't help with people asking for votes I guess. I know it isn't technically against the rules, but I just feel like it's against the spirit of a cosplay competition. *shrugs*

Yami- I have people comment that they like my cosplays too. I then inform them that it is for a contest and ask them to please take a minute to vote, but not strictly for me. I'm sure you aren't the only one that asks for votes directly. It's just a pet peeve of mine and your statement about it set me off a bit. It wasn't intended to be a personal attack on you. As I said, I don't think it's even against the rules or anything. It was more me just venting about a problem I've dealt with my entire life. Please don't take it too personally, okay? *hugs* You are still a cool person and a talented avi cosplayer.

I really should just get rid of my inventory.
I think what keeps me from doing so is I'd rather see it rot than in the hands of the people of Gaia. xD

I keep trying to find people who still use Gaia that I know/like/trust that I could unload it on but I don't know that many people. :oops:
