I have a 9-10ft snake. ^^ She's quite sweet.

I've never had a snake for a pet. Not my thing. But they don't bother me, especially pythons. They are actually kind of pretty. ^_^

We had ferrets for a while. I was against it at first, but 15 minutes after our first ferret got to do his first romp around the living room, I was hooked. So silly and playful. I like to call ferrets "Natures Prozak" because it's pretty much impossible to see one playing and NOT smile. Of course, you have to constantly clean the cage and bathe the ferret weekly, because of the skin oil build up... but it's not much worse than having a persian cat requiring constant grooming and cat box changing.

Ferrets!! I love them!! My best friend had three and they were the cutest, sweetest, little kleptomaniacs I ever saw. I've never had one because they are so expensive and because of the amount of time and work that has to go into keeping them happy and healthy. Maybe someday. In the meantime I'm happy with just the cat. She has that same prozac effect. lol

Haha so long as they're the good kind. Not like those ones on wrong turn or the hills have eyes xD

I have puppy and kitty. I've been fairly busy keeping puppy out of trouble...mainly why I haven't been on Mene much lately. She's kept me busy... I'm slowly getting her broken in and hopefully soon I can let her roam without worrying she's gonna leave me presents or chew on my stuff... :XP

Ferrets only smell bad if they don't get regular baths. :roll: Just like people. :lol:

And their cages. All pet store ferrets have been de-glanded so they don't musk as much, but it comes out in their skin oil, which gets all over anything they have constant contact with, like their cages. Clean the cage or 'nest' once a week, and give them regular baths and ta-da! No overwhelming smell. I rather like the way clean ferrets smell. Just a hint of musk.

Then, some people would be SLEEPING through the sun all day and then they'd never get their vitamin D.

I knew a Kiwi working in Newcastle when I lived there. She had such an awesome personality and her accent was awesome. :XD I'm wondering if she ever made it back home, as I know she was making grand plans to move back with her British sweetheart.
