Well - I got sick and the chemo wasn't working so I've been prepairing for stem-cell transplant number two... yup I'm getting ANOTHER one... *oi* I had lost my job and all this real life cruddite stuff exploded and all happened at the same time.

*ANNOYING!* So now! I'm trying to get things all worked out and I think Tuesday is the start 'kinda' for my transplant. I'm going to be at home for most of it because of this new procedure and treatment and things. We will see - BUT! - I will have internets. <3

Bleh, that sounds like an ordeal. My dad had to go about a month with no internet when they had him in the hospital for ... hyperbaric.. I think? treatment. Of all my relatives to get cancer, none of them have had stem cell treatment, so I don't know how messy that is. Is it like a bone marrow transplant? I knew someone who had to go through that twice, said it hurt worse than anything he'd ever gone through.

I have never had a bone marrow transplant, but I can't tell you that for some of the transplant it is the most painfull thing I've ever experienced. I don't like the idea of having to go through it again, but if it gives me another 5 years or more of good health and no damn pills - it's worth it! To me anyway. I've heard bone marrow transplants are very painful and I don't ever want to have to go through that!

Was he getting the marrow? or donating? I heard both are not pleasant at all. I feel for the kid. ((I call everyone kids. <3))
