That was one thing I didn't do. Work out. I ride my bike to work each day though, or rollerblade. I figure that's good enough XD

but yeah... i do oils and photoshop and arts and crafts.... and i read... but i dont write.. im a crafty person by nature... actually one of my paintings sold for $300. that was awesome... most of them go for about $20 though... or free.... i tend to give my art away

pen and ink is impossible for me! i cant stand the rigitity of it. i like the way oils flow and blend into each other. the creamyness of it and the layering ability is profound. i also love how they can capture you, you know?


you should sell your stuff though. people have been telling me that for a year now and i finally did and the one that was in auction sold for $100. it was for a charity but still. i was impressed.

probably. if you are used to one medium, moving to one that is on the opposite end of the spectrum is pretty hard. and you dont get much further apart then oils and ink.

a childrens book? thats pretty cool. i can only really paint backgrounds and flowers... i recently did a butterfly though... its pretty awesome looking! would that be helpful at all?

I like the japanese ink rocks. It's like a brush with ink on it, and you jut work with the different shades. But you're right.. it's opposite spectrum for sure.

It might be? Dunno, I don't think that it'd have to be something small, the paper can be as big as needed, but yeah. it might be very difficult to use the kind of control to be used on characters, very time consuming as well :( Dunno...

well i would be able to paint pretty backgrounds or colour in pretty backgrounds for your inked works. you would ink over them though.... and i would have to get someone to take better pictures of my work.

sorry ella. at the same time, im making an avatar for bbr's contest.... and im laughing my ass off at it. its helarious! im making a chicken dressed as a bunny for easter! but the face i gave it is just precious! playing with the eyes was totally my fav part of making this avatar. you should have seen it with some of the other eyes. :lol:
