Well...you know how I love them 'yaoi's.....I honestly don't get why people like yaoi any differently than any other manga (or at all). I don't get the importance.

Incest isn't common either though. And I don't read manga with incest in it because it has incest in it at all. I just read it for any other reason thing the story has to offer, like in angel sanctuary I didn't think the incest made it more interesting really; I thought the whole angels and demons and saving the damsel in "distress" thing was cool. Incest seems to have the same kind of situational problems as yaoi does to me and I would think it's even less common. It feels like the plot in yaoi always has to do with acceptance and love which to me is kinda too oldschool or something...I think that makes the idea too common. With action manga I think I usually like it half because of how they draw the action. Then how they display the power each character has or performs and how it in alot of manga its in different forms..such as through weaponry, magic/psychic abilities, bare skin and bones and variations of each. You can make action mangas with styles or elements. Its man's dream to have power or to be able to accomplish goals through dominance and skill. Action manga give a feeling envy and lets you pick your favorite styles or abilities. And blah blah blah blah blah....k thats it...I'm gonna start ranting more if I keep typing about it. I think the question makes alot of sense. I think I may just be asking "What makes it unique?". Does the fact that that type of manga may be harder to find make you more inclined to read/find them?
THERE IS NOTHING TO TALK ABOUT! Why should there be prerequisites to be married? Marriage doesn't exactly change much at all! Taxes may change and how money goes around may change, but right now with how things are marriage would barely even change those things. Now a kid is a different matter all together, but marriage is just an idea with rules and regulations. (Things like this are probably what I really want to talk about...the "why not?!?" factor)
Its soooo not boring....its just like any other competition it increases your self-worth (esteem?). Competition is what makes the world go round...at least it makes it less boring....and on battlefield there are so many ways to be better than others. It's only really fun if you're good at it...which I am. For example, I am awesome at sniping...I feel like I perform amazingly at that. Also at using the assault class in the game I'm a beast...but when it comes to being an engineer or a support class, I'm not quite as good....though better than most...I'm so cool in the world of battlefield....so lame in real life...lol. anway its just like beating a tough boss. you may not want to fight him again but you're glad you did.

Maybe...I bet the manga is better (which you haven't read enough of so you can't say anything!) too. But I like how everything looks so far it looks really real. At least the suits and guns. It's probably just the fact that I can relate it to the manga that got me this excited about it. Kinda like how I thought the Dragon ball Z live action movie would be good, but BEFORE I saw the previews....that movie was the biggest let down of all time......(well some time anyway)

Ugh I feel like crud....I had to get all sweaty and wrastle a bunch of guys...changing positions and stuff. My knees are so soar. We had a combatives class....apparently I'm not bad at it. I hurt my thumb and my upper back and shoulders are killing me.
We played friggin sharks and minnows on our knees across a mat and anyone who was mounted (put in a full mount pos.) had to be a shark.

I don't really see how seeing their private life is any different than in any other kind of romance manga. I would think most situations in yaoi are not very realistic anyway. And how do yaoi and incest have nothing in common? It's both based on relationships and love. Incest might make weird babies but other than that how is it really any different than other relationships besides the fact that it's taboo? Both are taboo. I wouldn't mind reading about incest. As I said before, it's a big part of angel sanctuary in the first book at least. I don't think the fact that they were brother and sister ever really changed throughout the series. I'm not really trying to promote incest, it's just that I don't really have an issue with it besides the fact that it can make issues with new 'generations'. How is incest ever a romance without hardships? Or ever not serious (relationships)?
And I don't understand how that shows "how" I like it any differently than any other manga genre ("How"? That sentence sounds weird). It's basis touches on dominance, power & strength, and competition. It differs from a manga about romance or comedy (exclusion implied [action]) in the fact that the main plot is usually directly caused by a need for dominance, power & strength, or competition. Plus the tempo of action manga tend to be more 'exciting' to me. Is that what you mean? I thought that was self-explanatory. Or maybe I just don't understand what you mean. And seeing manga action manga that have to do with martial arts can be just as interesting to see as someones relationship in their private life, because it tends to be a major part of your private life, at least when you make it your career. They don't seem THAT common to me... I always thought shonen and shoujo are a more general genre than yaoi.

Your examples seem more about the wedding than the marriage itself; two totally different animals. Marriage itself only requires paperwork and court fees and who will stand witness (I don't think you really even need that). Prices aren't huge deal for me. As long as it's reasonable I don't care. The wedding itself only lasts a day (besides rehearsals or whatever). I honestly don't care about the wedding. It's not important to me. I feel as though we are having a communications issue with this whole thing anyway. I don't mind talking about it. Maybe I should put it on my list of things to do? Just like how having kids is on there somewhere. It's not like it's something I want now or soon anyway. My requirements for when to have one tends to be based on basic reasoning any so I doubt we'll have problems. I don't think Hads is unreasonable about that anyway.
And maybe you should try it before saying it's boring anyway! Though I bet you'd suck so it might not be very fun for you...:P

the thought of making a live action movie of any popular classic anime sounds awesome to me. And yeah, who makes it is important...but you sound like a racist! Freakin' racist....Though Japanese productions DO tend to make better anime based films...but I think any Asian could make one in america just as good...though certain people may not give them that chance.....

It's horrible...I've had a headache everyday and my entire body doesn't want to move...I have bruises all over my chest and arms...I NEVER BRUISE! Well...very rarely anyway. I just don't think it sets it apart. I thought that that though was a basis for your interest. Here is one and it wasn't really hard to find. I don't even think the plot is a super uncommon theme (at least the problem they have). Well, it IS a genre. So why would it be considered different. If anything I would put both yaoi and incest in a subgroup of genres that both aren't mainstream (globally). And I have read manga with incest as the main focus (or have started but never finished) and you can't really count out ero manga either cuz it counts! And there are plenty of manga on "ero websites" that aren't really ero at all or that just have explicit images but the non-smexual part of the story is the main focus. Anyway...you shouldn't doubt so much ....it's mean...And I doubt it's very easy for a incestuous couple to ever be visible in America...maybe in a certain states...but even then...I'm sure that the hate for incest is at least twice as bad as the hate towards gays in the general public (globally as well). The fact that incest is taboo would definitely be hardship in itself for any incestuous couple. You act like you doubt a incestuous couple would even exist.
I messed up that first sentence I think, but I wanted to really say: Well did you 'read' what you said again? "That doesn't show how you like action manga any differently than any other manga." what does that even mean? That sentence doesn't make sense to me. Either I missed something or you should reword it. This in turn made me consider that you had stated what yaoi were about so I just told you what I thought (in a more general sense) action manga are about.

OTL...lol, anyway. Yeah I kinda do want to get married before hand. I see any reason not too and I don't think the 'negatives' to doing so are very substantial. Would you personally have anything against it if it were you? I think that as long as we don't have a kid too soon or come onto some super large debt that can't be paid in time then we should be fine.
I personally don't care much for weddings in general. I think that they are a little ridiculous nowadays. It's like love has had a price written on it and you can literally get a receipt. I'm sure plenty of cavemen just conked a girl on the head with his club, dragged her back to her man cave and told her she was his forever! Seems ideologically practical, right? But yeah, sorry I digress....I don't mind putting work into the wedding, but Hads doesn't even want to do the wedding until forever! I feel as though I have no real idea as to when we would even do so. Every time I think that something will change in our relationship through time, it gets pushed back! and yada yada....I'm just going to upset myself thinking too much....., but yeah. Both! I mean you should try playing the game (and dominating). Then you might not find talking about it boring. And you may find that talking about it yourself afterwards, makes it into a happy topic. But if you suck at it you may not get why its a happy subject. That is the prerequisite to not being bored by talking about dominating or the game (you have to play the game and dominate). And you obviously don't read as much ero manga as I do...they usually do have a plot. It's just covered with sex. I should have worded that differently maybe then. I don't care about the idea of Weddings. If I'm gonna have a wedding anyway, then why not care? These are things I already talked to her about. Well, you should know how I feel about my family and friends....With friends being few and far. I consider anyone else that might consider me a friend who isn't very close as an associate anyway...and I don't like associates enough to really want them at my wedding. I just meant that sometimes people may not really read an ero manga, but instead just want to look at the pornographic part of it and maybe read the ooo and ahhs. And okay.
