yeah it would have to be a sweet assed job for me to take a pay cut.

you have never had a job? wow. i have been in the work force since i was 16. i have had summer jobs every year until my last year of university when i actually had a job at the same time as school and I have been trying to get full time ever since. I even had full time for 3 months! but thats my current work place and we are closing.. so that didnt work out for very long... but it was nice while it lasted.

Vanora 02-09-2012 10:50 PM

Yeah it's sad. :/ All through my teen years It was just purely school. Full time. Then when I took my break I tried applying for a job , but nothing ever came up. So I just didn't bother. Dx
I'm just ready to get back into school. *Sigh*

bloodstainedwings 02-09-2012 10:52 PM

as lucky as that might be, its also not such a good thing because you need to hav work experience in order to get a job. I highly recommend you volunteer to make up for it.

Keyori 02-09-2012 10:55 PM

I've had 3 jobs at once before... that really stunk. I don't recommend it.

Vanora 02-09-2012 10:59 PM

I don't think it's lucky at all. Lol.

Oh dang, three?
@[email protected]
One sounds enough. Lol.

bloodstainedwings 02-09-2012 10:59 PM

i have had to balance school, a job and volunteering before. but thats not really the same as three jobs.

im going to go play zelda now. ill probably be back in a hour or so

Keyori 02-09-2012 11:01 PM

It was one full-time job and two part-time jobs. I wound up dropping one of the part-time jobs, and then I went to school and dropped the full-time job. And now I have NO JOBS! :D

Vanora 02-09-2012 11:11 PM

Talk to you later BSW. :3

Full-time plus two part-time? D:
That's insane!

Keyori 02-09-2012 11:44 PM

It was a bountiful year for me at least xD

I'm just ready for a career now. I don't want to work hourly anymore :/

bloodstainedwings 02-09-2012 11:48 PM

yeah well... i wish i could have a career... but thats fairy tales in this land i live in. here your lucky to get full time and thats pretty much that.

Vanora 02-09-2012 11:55 PM

That's what I'm going for, a career and If that won't happen after I try well then I'll settle for some job.

bloodstainedwings 02-10-2012 12:11 AM

well the only advice i can give you is that while you are in school volunteer at a place you would like to work in. and that way if they have an opening they will want to hire you because you are right there and they know you and they know you are skilled and will fit in their team as you already do.

Vanora 02-10-2012 12:16 AM

Yeah.
Hopefully if I get in what I want I'll be sure to do that. Although, I hear that some of the class time actually requires me being in the field as part of the requirement. So who knows. I hope things go well. I still have to take some tests to see if I can't even get in the program. >.<

bloodstainedwings 02-10-2012 12:22 AM

well im sure you will get in and be able to shedule everything to fit nicely. its just a matter of wiggle room really.

Vanora 02-10-2012 12:23 AM

Yeah. I want to be overly excited, but the same time I don't. >.<
I'd hate to crash all the way to ground again.
But I'll stay optimistic.

bloodstainedwings 02-10-2012 12:25 AM

well start studying now for it! be proactive you know! dont let it sneak up on you. you can do it if you are prepared and steadfast in your studies.

Vanora 02-10-2012 12:51 AM

Yeah, the only thing I need to brush up on is the Math. I need to find something that will jog my memory. Dx
Algebra is one those things for me where I know right then and there if I study it, but let it slide years later and I can barely do the simple stuff. Lol.

sweet_serender159 02-10-2012 12:57 AM

hello all :)

bloodstainedwings 02-10-2012 12:58 AM

hello sweety!

@roz why not do random problems online? do a basic search in google for some simple algebra questions or something?

sweet_serender159 02-10-2012 01:01 AM

how is everyone?

ew ... maths -.-

bloodstainedwings 02-10-2012 01:04 AM

not bad today. applying to jobs left right and center and keeping myself busy. thats important you know? staves off the depression which gets you no where but on welfare/ social assistance.

agreed, you probably should. XD

@sweety i know what thats like.

Keyori 02-10-2012 01:27 AM

It's only 5:30 though D:

...Which also means my husband is late back from work. Odd, since he works across the street, and there's no cars parked over there. So he either was kidnapped, or lost track of time. Or maybe both. Lost track of time and THEN kidnapped!
