Monochrome does sound fun

I don't think that a monochrome theme would work well for an entire cycle as I can see it getting monotonous but I think once I return to Phoenix in a couple of weeks I might start doing weekly/bi-weekly contests that are hosted by Project Mene but open to anyone, contestant or otherwise, that might include a monochrome challenge or two. I've wanted to do small contests for a long time now but I've never been able to do them properly.

I was digging through some papers today and happened upon a comic I made way back when....prolly like 2008 or 2009. I wish I had a scanner I'd show you guys.

It featured the old Project Mene crowd.

Seiki, Cami, Rylynne, CK, Keyori, Me.

It made me giggle actually.

I would love to see it sometime. That's awesome. :p

So I tweaked the next challenge to include a monochromatic theme. It just seemed to work better.

@Fire (and anyone else for that matter)- the word monochrome means one color. Black, white, and grey are all considered shades of the same color(or really just shades because they aren't technically colors, but who's being technical)

@cora does that mean that they can used black and white with any other colour? for example, sky blue & moon blue & white? or atlantis, teal and black?

when i did monochromatic in my contest, i did not allow it, but a reasonable argument was made for it.

No Seiki actually specified he wanted it kept to the black and white and grey family.

But if it was only specified that it needed to be monochrome then a reasonable arguement could be made that black and white as well as any shades of a single color family could be used.
