Mine are organized by layer, not color.

I organize by EI/year (each EI year gets it's own year), CI, Things i created, special (like npc items), RED, and main. Main as all my commons except the stuff I make and the red stuff :P

I use to organize my inventory by layer until they added a ton of layers, then I switched to colors, lmao.
