I'm okay. Just feeling down having to come back to my apartment after visiting my boyfriend and family for a few days. I hate being up here, but it's for college. It wouldn't be so bad if I didn't work so damn much. I barely even got to go home, and didn't get Thanksgiving off. :(

That's really sad. I hate when people have to work Thanksgiving. I used to work at a grocery store and no one was allowed to request off on holidays. Just about everyone had to work. And it sucked. Its money, but you're also missing out on your family. :(

I'm glad my job doesn't open on thanksgiving but I worked until 10pm at night black friday. It was a wreck after we closed. so much straightening.

Yeah, and then I just spent it alone at home watching lame movies on Netflix and crying over ice cream. lol

It wasn't that bad working, though. People, for the most part, were very nice and grateful. I had one guy that was so touched that I was working. He kept thanking me, and said that because good people like me work, it allows other people to have an even better thanksgiving with their family, and that is just so kind. It was because of customers like him that I didn't mind working. Then there was one lady that was a total bitch. I just wound up ignoring her completely. lol

Yeah, that can't be helped. It's my first time since I've been going to school away from home that I've had a job, so I don't really ever get to go home. The last year I was here I would go home all the time when I'd have the time and money for it, but now I go once every couple months and don't get to spend holidays there :(

Alright guys, no response from Seri, so unfortunately I'm forced to go on without her.

We were gonna let her use her extension.....hmm....I'll give her 4 more hours. That would make it an even two days no response, however at that time I'll be updating.

No worries, I wouldn't want special treatment anyhow. Everyone else made the deadline despite being off with family (and I didn't ask to use my extension as I ought to have done). It's really as simple as that.

Sometimes, as with your case. If you let us know the circumstances before hand thats enough to tell us the extension was needed.
