I feel like the avi isn't quite strong enough to represent Leo. Also, I think a larger, more defined crown would suit it better. Maybe a little bit of armor and a determined face. I like where you're headed, but to me it doesn't really say Leo yet. The hair is a bit off in color, and maybe if you aren't going to use the lion mane item, you can use a hair that looks more like a lion's mane. And the red wisps coming from the feet don't really suit it, in my opinion. :)

I wonder though what the judges will be fixating on. The name of the sign or the background elements, etc. Because Gemini isn't just about being "air" and leo isn't just about being "sun."

We have the classic "images" of the signs...and then more indepth. I'm definitely not someone who follows the zodiac signs and astrology stuff so really I have no idea what we are going to be looking for in this challenge. In terms of the "image" I feel it's represented pretty well and don't want to overload my avatar by adding in "air" and all the other gemini related stuff.

But I don't know.

You can incorporate a handful of things about it, or focus on one thing in itself. You could do it all about air, or all about the personality that they have, or whatever. Same with leo. They could have a strong, brave figure, or a lion, or a burning avi. But it should probably be something that if you look at it you can get a solid zodiac sign feel from it, and the explanation should probably suit it well.

I think this theme could be interpreted in a quite a few ways. It'll be interesting seeing just how each user does it.

So i'm more having a hard time balancing it. Haha. Which is what my name does :P
(Side note: leos are also vain... I'm not full of myself and think I'm the awesome... nope.. i swear)

Oh right... and I'm trying the corwn thing afterall. And Not sure i like what I've ended up with. But its the best fire item I could find for the head. xD I just wish the item was just a little bit more centered so it could look like a fire crown. Think its close enough to be considered that?

There is fire hair from the Lifeforce of Calesco, and also from Calesco's Fury. Those are the only 2 head fire items I can think of off the top of my head. The little guy on your head doesn't really match. I think it takes away from your theme. Distracts from the background.

That's what I was afraid of... Caleco's fury gets rid of the mane. Hmmmmm

And i know. I was just stating a fact. I had to join this round of PM because of the astrological stuff. it delights me too much.

The eye style 3 may match the girls eyes a little closer.

I kind of think it's all about interpretation for this round. I imagine the descriptions are going to be pretty important, as a way of showing how you interpreted the concept. That might just be my wishful thinking, though!

I personally don't care which route you choose to take. If you want to go more elemental, then I'll consider the element part more than the animal/thing part. It's really up to you, and I think the judges would agree.

Sort of. Everything is essentially tied to the central theme of "Zodiac" so there will be some astrological stuff, and others will be more culturally related.

@ Chex - Back in the day this is what I best came up with for something that looks almost like a snout. It may not suit yours, though.

So to all the people who are asking.

I as a judge do not care which route you take. The Challenges here have always been to think a little outside the box. HOWEVER, that being said. I should be able to tell what you where going for without too much effort. Your description should be part of this. However if I have to spend a long time trying to figure out what sign you meant to go for....you will likely not win much brownie points from me.
