Easty, I definitely get the "prophet" theme from your avi, the outfit and the background are developing well. For some improvements, I would tweak the hair colors to have greater contrast and look slightly more realistic. Also, I'm not totally sold on all the animals; I take it they represent various omens or symbolic visions? I think that's the weakest point in what you have so far.

Wyrm, I like the way your current avi looks. The dark blue sky adds a nice broodiness to the scene, and I like the tailcoat. The white feathers on your hips make your bird look a little rumpled though; maybe you could use a white apron for the belly area instead? Also maybe try out so black eyes, instead of the red ones, since the red doesn't match with anything else in the avi?

Chexala: yes they are all the the things she could see in her vision, theres not just animals, the candle the arrow and the skull also have different meanings, i am debating whether or not to remove one or two so it appears less cluttered. --- I'm thinking to get rid of the rabbit might do the trick, and I definitely agree about the hair.

None of the aprons seem to layer well-- they all layer over the tailcoat instead of under, and I wind up looking like a freaky maitre'd. I might try just losing those hipfeathers and see how that goes. As for the eyes, I've been looking around for something better... the only things I have with eyes are Siriusly? and the creepy doll one. The trick with black eyes is making them stand out.

Ah, too bad about the aprons. I like this latest version, with the blue eyes, they look great with the sky.

I think I'll probably stick with this as my entry... I'm pretty happy with how it looks, although I still wish I could get more birds in. Maybe I should do a Tippi Hedren cosplay.

It's one of the classics... although I admit I haven't seen the whole thing, either. It's not my preferred type of Hitchcock film.
