sorry guys, its been a loooong day.

I'll get this updated tonight.

I ummm....won't be making comments this round, only adding my scores. You do not want to hear my comments in my current state.

---------- Post added 04-21-2014 at 01:39 AM ----------

If you would like my opinions though, PM me and I'll answer tomorrow.

Thanks. We have an apartment lined up, but it won't be ready until after we get down there. Almost a week after we get down there. But at least it's a place! :D

Ooh, it's rough when there is layover time like that. At least you did manage to find a place though, so it wont be too long.

~LONGCAT~ 04-21-2014 02:25 PM

My parents are in Alabama, so we're using them as a rest house during our travels so it isn't a straight drive from NJ to TX. They told us we can stay a few days with them to get rested up and make the wait on the apartment go a bit faster.

Chexala 04-21-2014 03:23 PM

Ah, nice, that will pass the time much more pleasantly than camping out in a motel or something. [XD]

~LONGCAT~ 04-21-2014 03:28 PM

I dunno, I usually can't spend long periods of time with my parents. Well really just my dad, my mom's fine.
And we have the tent packed so we could spend a few days at the campground at my new job. :P

Chexala 04-21-2014 03:44 PM

Haha, yay for camping at work! That's not something you hear everyday. [lol]
Who are you moving together with?

~LONGCAT~ 04-21-2014 03:56 PM

My fiance. We've been living together for 5 years and engaged for 4. And our only plans so far are: Ice cream cake and BBQ at reception. XD

Shadami 04-21-2014 04:10 PM

good plans :3
i threw together a wedding in 3 months. so it wasn't all fancy. but we had dancing, a videogame cake, and the rings were in pokeballs.

Chexala 04-21-2014 04:57 PM

Hahaha, that's awesome.
I only recently discovered the glory that is ice cream cake. [drool]

~LONGCAT~ 04-21-2014 05:23 PM

Wow Shad, that's fast! And on a budget?

I don't like cake and he doesn't like frosting. So ice cream cake was the best idea. :D

Both of these weddings sound like fun times.

I didn't plan my first wedding and it was stuffy and extravagant and not in the least bit fun even for me the bride.

For my second marriage we eloped. We went down to the court and made it official, secretly exchanged rings and that was that. Neither of us wanted a fancy wedding.

wow that would suck not being able to have fun at your own wedding. i would murder my parents if they decided to do all the planning. oh and if they picked the music i wouldnt even go to my wedding. lol. then again, if they wanted a wedding... they would have to plan it because i dont want one. lol

I often fail to realize how many users on here are married

Cora 04-21-2014 06:50 PM

Considering I never loved my first husband, It goes to show you that nothing would have made the marriage fun.

---------- Post added 04-21-2014 at 07:51 PM ----------

@Suona- twice divorced myself.

Maria-Minamino 04-21-2014 08:24 PM

I haven't been married yet D: Hopefully if and when I do, I find the right person. It's always scary to think you might end up with the wrong person D:

Seiki Nova 04-21-2014 10:23 PM

All this talk of marriage and I'm not even allowed to get married in my state. Oh well. I suppose that would mean that I have to date someone first anyways, and that's not going to happen for a while.

Scores and new challenge are up.

Suona 04-21-2014 10:43 PM

Whaat? Seiki hasn't been finding any cute and charming guys?

@ Cora - Oh no. D: Were you forced into the marriage?

@ Maria - Right? Because of the I rather prefer to just not get married [lol]

Cora 04-21-2014 10:46 PM

Marriage isn't all that its cracked up to be, you aren't missing much [lol]

Basically, with the threat of losing my inheritance if not.

Suona 04-21-2014 10:48 PM

Yeah, it seems stressful to me. My boyfriend and I have already talked about it and agree that not getting married would be best. He talks about it sometimes to consider it, but I just say no. lol

Cora 04-21-2014 10:51 PM

Its really not all it cracks up to be. A piece of paper and a ring mean nothing in the game of love.

Maria-Minamino 04-21-2014 11:24 PM

I'm still in shock that I won the challenge!!! O///O thank you!

This new challenge is interesting!

~LONGCAT~ 04-22-2014 03:17 AM

Ok. Fair waring to the other fishes and to you contestants... I'll be mid road trip on the 27th. Hopefully in Alabama at that time. But probably in no shadow to give scores or critiques. If I get anything in it will just be numbers.

Mythos 04-22-2014 05:20 AM

Congrats, Maria! You're rocking this contest! x3

And woo boy... this one is going to be tricky.

So far I'm thinking about a fast food employee (wanting quick decisions goes natural, there) and to get the airy-water sign going I was thinking about having them serve chicken and hold a water bottle (since Aquarius is literally 'the water bearer') but as for backgrounds to help carry the idea across there... I -know- I will need a lot of help. : \

Suona 04-22-2014 06:44 AM

Eh. I feel like this challenge is a bit odd and not necessarily fair. Some of the horoscopes are way more complex to make an avi from than the others.

Ooh, that's so ingenious, Mythos! Great idea

Mythos 04-22-2014 06:59 AM

I figured the horoscopes were assigned specifically to challenge us in areas each of us seemed to naturally shy away from-- at least I got that feeling with mine since it emphasized directness and simplicity-- both of which I struggle with xD

Hmm... Does anyone happen to have "The VJ" and wouldn't mind me ghosting it? There aren't many counter-like items!
