its very simple, which has its charms... but for such a simple colour combination and layering and that the theme of the avatar isnt really anything.. I would say your avatar is very very boring and would need a lot of work to be interesting. Please dont take this the wrong way, I just want to help you out. Black and red as a colour combo is very common and so in order to make it interesting you should have a catchy theme or an image you are trying to represent. for example, if you were to try to represent red velvet cake and had the avatar holding the cake you were representing, it would be much more interesting. or something like a red moon, again very interesting imagery therefore interesting avatar.

without a clear theme and just a colour combination, the colour combination itself must be interesting. you could try adding an interesting colour to your avatar like lemon or ice blue. keep in mine that adding silver, white or gold are not interesting colours to add. they are just as boring. If you wanted to do a two colour avatar, try to keep them both interesting colours, like i dont know.. tiki and pirate. I have no idea if those colours look good together, i just through come colours out there.

If you want, I can try to DAC you an avatar that is more interesting.
