i actually really like your avatar as it is. its very creepy fairy. maybe a background might make everything set though. like the grey/black forest? and some grey or black stone floor with blood on it?
Babyblueyez25: check out the DAC and the marketplace. Since you have donated, you can use the DAC to create avatars and you can find backgrounds ETC. I also use the marketplace to search for items. Then if you don't have the funds for the item you like in the marketplace, check out the lending tree thread here in the avatar chat. Someoen might be willing to let your borrow them. If they are a multiequip item, you can ghost it, which mean you can equip it, then send the item back to the user and use the item while not actually have the item in your inventory.
I think that either these two from the creepy storybook might fit
OR
This one from the YOLO! LULZ... mommy T_T event item might work too.

Been looking in the Marketplace too. Seen a few multi equips that would make a good background.
Think your correct on the creepy storybook backgrounds it will do for now till I put something else together lol.

yeah thats cool. the dac you get by donating. once you donate, you just click on the forum tab. and in the first box (should be green coloured) its the last one on the left.
from there you start with your current avatar except naked. but same hair and skin and eyes and ears just without clothes or backgrounds. from there you search of items and it works very similar to the market place except you can put more then just one item on the avatar.
also, i love the hot air balloons. nice touch!

super creepy and i love that. but the avatar seems in sharp contrast to the background and because its res and green its almost christmasy. maybe if you changed the green to blue?

i dont know... it depends on if you like it or not. i personally would have much more layering and colours and stuff. but thats me. you hardly ever do that, so its more about what you like.
