I'm loving the layering of the colors even the background works great with the whole avatar. I wouldn't change a thing.

You should add some red to the feet area. Add some more silver on onto the avatar around the waist, feet, wrist and hair. You should also add black on the head for better balance.

Try adding more balance, but its a nice start. :)
