Depending on the game genre, you could be a rival in a band simulation or singing game, or you could even be a character in a dancing game. You'd be the one who likes being on top, one of the more challenging characters, but when you're convinced the payoff (either in money or in matching with you own values) is enough you could be persuaded to side with the player.

In an action game, you'd be more like the character whose stats are more or less balanced, but has amazing special attacks revolving around music.

One of the hero's team, who joins up with them early in the game.

You are the royalty figure that the main character works for. You give assignments and rewards, but no-one really knows if you are on the good side or the bad.

An NPC waiting in a dark town, ready to give advice to the main character if they ask.

You're the recruitable character that gets her own side-story in a separate game because everyone was saying how awesome you were and that you should've totally gotten more attention than you did. XD And you really get less attention than you deserve, and your spin off game is more of a smash hit than the original game. XD

Hm... the adorable, quirky supporting character that isn't a great melee fighter, but invaluable with her specialized skill set and tactics. My first thought was actually Rikku from FFX, or Yuffie from FFVII ^^

The Water Dragon in human form. A person you think is evil at first, but later ends up good.

You are an evil spirit, summoned up by the final boss in order to stop the hero from stopping their plans. You're a strong opponent and only get stronger the longer you're in the summoning circle.

Mysterious and all powerful NPC, who is benevolent. The play may come across you when you stop after they defeat a boss and congratulate them, or in the middle of town where you are in disguise playing among the mortals. Overall you're a very playful character and not much use outside of giving hints and prize items.

The plucky action girl who has some connection to the crescent moon (I"m trying so hard not to think of Sailor Moon) on the team. You're strong but kind, and always come through to help save the day.

you are the mistress of a dangerous demon filled castle and your throne room is located at the top of the tallest tower... you refuse to come down until you know for sure that your husband, the king, is dead... you are constantly surrounded by guards who protect you and when the party arrives at your castle you bid them an audience in your presence if they can give you proof that the king is really dead... what you fail to tell them is that they have to make their way through all the floors of the previously mentioned demon filled castle while they get progressively harder to beat... you reward them greatly should they make it
