Please? I spent like..... I forget how long working on the appearance. o.x; The last event helped a lot with the red and gold, but I still want to know if it looks alright. I've been told it looks a little cluttered. I actualy want to try to get it featured on the main page of the site, but I want to know what people think, first.

I should have been more constructive. It's just... it's been done.
I would suggest adding another colour, and making them contrast well. They kinda blur together in your avatar.
... maybe too much gold? Gold goes better as a trimming, rather than half an avatar.

Maybe... I have plenty of other items that are red and gold... I've even tried blue and gold, but that just didn't make me as happy...I might try some other things....

Gold and red are really easily done.
Its a two color combination,
And its really common.
So It has to be really good to be picked.
Your avvie is just a bunch of event items.
The laurels, eye getup, earrings, necklace, top, torso tattoo, shield, belt, and moon.
Try using a variation of commons, event items, and cis.
It spices the avvie up and makes it not as blah and easily done.
Try having a 3 color combo.
They are harder to do,
But are also more pleasing to the eye.

Well, I had my avatar like that before, but I didn't really like the items I was using then as much as I like the ones I use now. Plus, the avatar is kind of modled after a character I invented, and the warm colors are an important part of it. I dont really like orange, or a normal yellow, so I chose red and gold. I'm actualy thinking of adding in some white, or more black than just a few random pixles and the eye make-up.

Though i have to agree with the other posters comments: it'll probably lose points for having so much items from the same event and red and gold is a common colour combination. Adding an extra colour really can spice up the look of an avi.

If you want to keep it as it is now though, i'd suggest taking out the moon. In my opinion it makes the gold feel overpowering.

I might try that... I worked really hard for the moon, though... I tried changing things up on the avi earlier, and adding some white/silver, but it just... Didn't look as good to me...

I like the avatar as well :] But it's just that you should try to not say that your feelings are hurt, it's not that it's bad, but it makes the other person feel bad while the shouldn't - blarg - off topic. Haha, well, not really, but I'd say try adding green though it is not a warm color like you wanted, maybe try ... I really don't see any more matches, maybe orange or green, even though it is harder to do it may be more appealing to the eye. :] Good luck!

Yeah. ^^; I know I might have been going a bit overboard when I said it hurt my feelings... I made a board like this before, and recived mostly praise. But that was before the event, and my going over-board with the items. >>; And I do appologize. I've just never really been one to hide things.
Anyway, I thought about orange, but there isn't much else that I've found that kind of goes with the desert-y, Egyptian like theme I'm going for. T~T -pout- I thought about green, too, but I never really liked red and green together. xX;

i would agree with the other post maybe another color would really look good. did you try putting more black in it? how about white??
but then again if YOU like it then you should just leave it ^ ^
