Korru hasn't been on Mene in FOREVER! She needs a rate.
So I haven't updated my avatar in about three months. Yes, it's a long time. Summer went by, I went on a trip, school came around blah blah blah. It's time for a make-over and Korru needs some advice on what she's created using the MAC. Give me a yay, nay, suggestions and a rate out of 10. Then I'll comment, if you want a rate back I'll give you one. That's how this is going to work. So, I made two avatars. I REALLY need ideas when it comes to colour combinations because I'm totally lost as to what has and hasn't been done here. Those are both nice. I really like the first one. It's got a really unique color scheme, and it's very well balanced. The other one is all right, but the blues seem to me to be several different shades that don't really match each other. And you'd definitely need some more blue around the feet. But it could definitely be made really really good.

I prefer the first one. The second one, the blue aren't the same shades and while I don't really care if they're just a tad off, the hairpin and the scarf are two completely different blues.
Also, the headwings aren't needed in the second ones. You already have white up there from the whale. For the first one, you don't need the balloon. You already have red from your hair. Also, I think it may look better if you use a shorter hairstyle since the red hair and the sleeves are too much red? Also, as with the second avvie, the ranklets aren't needed. You already have black from the shoes. But if you extra black there, you can add the regrets skirt and then it'll also add another color over the chainmail, which is okay as it is, but it's just a tad too much silver as compared to rest of your avvie, where there's smaller amounts. The last suggestion would be to change the hair bow to the EGA black crown 'cause the crown will also add some silver on your head. |
The first one seems a lot better.
However, like appli said, you don't need the red balloon there. The red from your hair is enough. Also, it could probably do without the red sleeves. The hair you chose is long enough to cover it. I suggest that you put dove anklewings on, not raven. You already have black from the boots. The staff clashes with the white in your pants, so I'd take that off as well, and maybe either the eyepatch or the bow. You have a bit of clashing with the same colours all over your avatar. |
Eh, I'd vote against adding Dove Anklewings instead of Raven ones in the first outfit. All the other whites on that outfit are more whiteish/gray, while the Dove Anklewings are bright white. I think it would look really odd.
