How can I make this avatar better?

Well I see different shades of green in different places, like the shirt is lighter than everything on the avi other than the present, so maybe try to single out the different shades and just choose a definite one.
That way it might not look as cluttered either. You seem to use a lot of green in places where it isn't needed. When you have green in a spot, there's not really a reason to add more, like with the shamrocks and the present. You need more brown at the feet and on the head, tube socks or regular crew socks would work for the feet. I suggest getting rid of the peacock circlet, because both of the colours on it are being used on the head already, with the hair and the hairpin. The gold in the item doesn't even really match anything but the present (which you should get rid of.) And either the astral halo or the moon in the background should go as well. It just adds to the clutter. I'd also suggest making the shirt a different colour, gold perhaps. |
I really like the pink/grey/green combo but the shamrocks are mostly unnecessary. The rose will add enough green without having way too much. If you could find a way to add more pink around the feet it would be good, but it'll look fine otherwise :)
