I'm debating whether to go ahead and get it set up now or after I move in 2 weeks. Probably wait til then and hope someone else doesn't do it first! |

That's a good idea. I think I'll go ahead and set up and let people chat and stuff, but maybe not open the contest thing until first week of July. Yeah, I'm moving on the 29th! Less than 2 weeks away. We've got so much to do before then! My husband and I are both internet geeks, so hopefully we'll get our online service set up quickly up there.

Alright, I did everything in the first post, I ran it out of the avatar creator folder, I downloaded Java, etc. The window opens, but it's blank. There's no pictures, not even if I click on the menus. Help, please?
Edit: Okay, so I tried it on my mac. It doesn't work on macs, does it? |

And it was run with a mac? If you managed to get it to that point, then it should work with macs. xp |
I did have an unzipping program; I think it was just that the computer I was using was a piece of crap. Tried it on my brother's, and it worked fine. :]

Heeey I've problem D:.. When I'm clicking on AvatarCreator.jar I see an error:
The jar file "AvatarCreator.jar" couldn't be launched. Chceck the Console for possible error messages I dunno what to do. I check Console but I don't udnerstand anything :(. I've Mac OS X (4.8 ) Intel. Please, help! |

You get that message because it needs to be run with Java Virtual Machine. A program that is different from just regular Java. Unfortunatly for us Mac users, JVM is a windows only program. Unless you have a program for your mac called Parallels, you wont be able to run JVM. Parallels allows you to run windows, while on your mac, as a program. Parallels costs about $100 at your local computer stores :) EDIT- @Temmon - You should probably add this to the front page just so MAC users know. |
