@Exerel, I'll also look at some different shoes, I didn't put much thought into the shoes because they were the only ones that I had and gold was in my avi so i thought they would go alright. ^^

Even though I'm new, I am an avid ATer on Gaia. I'm sure I can depend on you to not judge me based on the fact that I don't have any items yet.

@Majin: Pretty av! 9.5/10 You and I have a similar technique. For the most part, I like adding trinkets and details to give small bursts of color, rather than choosing big, bright colorful items on the base and then trying to nullify it slightly with white or black accessories.

So far, the only thing that looks a little off to me is the hair. It's the only dark part of the av, and it runs all the way down to the feet. You might think about adding a little more dark (or light) teal to the av, and then shortening the hair. Also, if you can break up the teal in the hair or on the arms with white or gold in it, it might look nice. I don't know the names of items yet, but I'm sure you could figure out. I don't mean to make suggestions that would make your av more cluttered... that's just what I do, because I like to break up big blocks of color...

All in all, very nice. I'll take another look and refine my comment <3.

I decided to switch my hair, because I have to agree with you, it was a huge block of dark blue, and I didn't really have any other dark blue.

After switching the hair to something shorter and although it is still kind of a block I like it.

As for dark blue, I bought a dark blue bra and I think that helps tie in the avi a little bit better because they look like the same shade.

I'm working on getting some shoes now. Someone suggested gold shoes...which I could do, because I have a lot of gold focused on the top of my avi and not too much on the bottom other than my shorts, but it's hard to see.

Or I could do dark blue shoes...and that will tie in the head, bra, and lantern. What does everything think?

You don't have to cap the av by making it gold on top and gold on the bottom, although, that might look nice too. I'd say start with navy shoes. If you don't like it, then go for gold. If you could add both (again, I don't know the items at all yet) like with socks and shoes... that might help too.

The key is to keep all the colors balanced. It may take some juggling, but in the end, that's what keeps it looking coherent. I'm really glad I could help and I think she looks great <3

Okay...so some gloves...what do you all think would look the best, dark gloves or light gloves...I was considering gloves of light which...if you don't know are white with a little bit of gold trim. Or the gloves from heaven, although with those, I'm not exactly sure how they will look.

I think maybe you should get some dark gloves since you have dark hair, something in the avatar also of dark.

You have a good combination of colours, though like some of the others have said, you could use some gloves or stockings. Dark gloves may work better since you have a lot of white in the fan (as long as there isn't too much), so maybe the Punked Gloves? Though if you'd rather have lighter gloves, maybe the Day Gloves?
Also, you could try covering your legs with stockings, though you may want to use red or white since black might blend in with your hair (unless it were the fishnets). Actually, the red or black fishnets may work well with it, otherwise maybe Ayumuis White Socks for some white.

The gloves of light would look good; dark ones would blend into your hair, and the gloves from heaven have blue in them. Fishnet stockings (the original ones) would make your avi look complete.
