Okay, I've had a look around, and can't find another thread like this one. But if I've over-looked it, and this is a repeat thread, please let me know. :)

Right, a nice simple thread!

Simply use MAC to create an avatar that looks as much like the real life you as possible. Obviously it won't look EXACTLY like the real you, but just try to keep it as close to your real style as you can.

Make more than one avvie if you like, after all, nobody dresses exactly the same every day!

Feel free to comment on other peoples' real life avvie styles (but don't be a jerk/flame their real life dress sense!) and chat about whether or not you expected their real life avvie to look differently, based upon what their Mene avvie looks like, or what you know about them as a user.
And also talk about which Menewsha items you'd like to have in real life, if you could!

Pretty much what I'm wearing today, only the hair is curlier than mine, but it was the closes I could get.

Yeah, that's pretty much me. I don't keep my hair tied back, but that's about the right hair length for me. I like to wear black tops and baggy jeans. I wear weird socks all the time that often don't match with the rest of my outfit. Fuzzy socks, striped socks, long socks, socks of all sort of colors.
And sometimes I like to wear my black and purple striped arms warmers.

As for the panda, I have a stuff panda bear that I got from my grandmother when I was only 3 months old. I still have him and he is very dear to me. His name is Mr. Bear :3

This hair is pretty much spot on to mine at the moment, though I have a small fringe as well and this colour is a smidgeon lighter than my actual colour.
As to the clothes, this one on the left is my standard style - tight top that is slightly revealing, comfy blue jeans, and serious chunky black boots, all topped off with huge earrings. And yes, I do enjoy a glass of wine.
On the right is how I prefer to dress when going out - I love asian-inspired clothing, and up-dos. I love fishnets as well - they add a cheekiness, and though my earrings will generally be more subdued, they are still always dangly! I will wear bracelets and/or arm-cuffs as well when going out, though rarely rings. I worry too much about losing my favourites!

Here's me ^^

I usually wear tight jeans and a single coloured t-shirt on top of a thin longsleeve (I like purple and blue a lot)... I practically live in my converse shoes, and all my pants need a belt to stay up...
Also, I always wear a scarf of some kind, preferably blue, so the bandana was the best match ^^
I love ice cream, so I added that as well...
My hair is approximately that length, and I couldn't find a better hairstyle... The colour is pretty accurate tho...
And I always wear headphones when my surroundings allow me to... XD *is addicted to her music*

Yeah, and since it's cold outside (I live in Norway) I wear cut off gloves...

This is the closest I could get. Different colors kinda, but thats how I dress when I'm goin' out to a party or whatever. I'm almost always in my boots or heels.

The other is my normal day wear. I wear a few different necklaces to layer and I always layer my shirts. I always wear a belt with a big ol' buckle and I'm always always in flip flops if not heels.

I wish they had sunglasses, I'm always in those too, not matter what time it is lol

Yeah.... I always have my hair down, unless it's during the summer and it's hot, but my hair isn't THAT long, it ends at the bottom of my shoulder blades, and my bangs are a little longer than the ones on the avatar. I usually wear a nice comfy sweater, usually having a zipper down the middle, also, I usually wear jeans and sneakers. Except my sneakers are these really cheap blue ones that are super thin and are not waterproof. I also sometimes wear glasses, but I don't like wearing them since they feel uncomfortable so I don't wear them often, only when I can't see the board in class.

my hair is always down.. and sometimes it's curly sometimes not. but that's the right length of my hair. I lamely edited the curly hair to have bangs from the reaaally long haired one because i have side bangs like that..

er the first one is what i normally wear if i go to work or something. pinstriped work pants and boots and a belt and a shirt. a jacket/coat if it's cold. the second is how i dress everyday. jeans, a belt, a shirt, slippers, and a jacket, though the jackets aren't black. they're brown, grey, or white.

Cute idea! :3 I've made a Gaian of myself, but I have yet to make a MAC me.

This is what I came up with, with some color tweaks for the hair and eyes in Photoshop:

*grins at Ferra* I wish I had thought of tweaking the hair colour like that. Not the eyes though - they're pretty much spot on!

I edited it a bit, lol. I actually have a coat exactly like that, except it's more grayish and the [fake] fur is brown.

I had to do a bit of editing but I guess I kinda look like this:

It would seem just about everyone wears blue. XD; Or at least many wear jeans.

@butterscotch: It's interesting because I could of sworn most of the early stuff was more casual rather than costumey. But oh well. :3

How typically boring.
Now let's go into all the symbols. Joy.
Crowns, hearts, and lions are just my symbols. People recognize me by these. :]
I have about chest length brownish-reddish "mahogany" hair and my eyes are almost that gray color with a bit of blue to it...think slate blue.
I wear earrings almost all the time, big ones, intricate too. I even have heart hoops like that...though I can't find one of them. And my necklace, my locket which I'm never ever ever seen without.
Most of the time, my boring outfit consists of a hoodie, jeans, and flip flops [go socal xD]. I tend to also wear a wifebeat [or tank top, whichever you prefer to call it] with a black bra [yes, even with white shirts, bad slut >O] which you can see poking out there. XD
I feel naked without something to hold, a purse especially, and before that, a backpack.
So that's the essential of Donna. No I don't always wear a crown, or have a pet lion [psh I wish].

I'm pretty sure it's a recolor of the Tangerine Odyssey Jacket. ^^ Or at least that's what it looks like.

@ wish: Yeah I just recolored the orange one. xD I'm not decent enough at pixeling to do anything from scratch.

@ Ferra: I thought so too until I got the MAC open, there was hardly anything I'd actually wear. Maybe it's telling me I need to dress more normally. :lol: There are lots of those tshirts but I never wear those.

@butterscotch: I guess it's sad I found the kinds of things I usually wear then. XD Unless it's in the middle of summer, I usually wear a t-shirt under a sweatshirt/jacket with jeans. If it's summer, I wear only a t-shirt and jeans or capris.

Argh, this was pretty frustrating. I had a good idea of what I wanted my avatar to wear, but none of the pieces seemed to fit right.



^ This is actually upside. I'd typically be wearing plaid pants / pinstripe pants, and a solid color top. I don't actually have a plaid jacket, but I had to get a pattern in there somehow. But if I had these items, I'd probably wear them like this. =)

The rest is fairly accurate - My hair is almost that long now, and it's even curlier. And my cross and Oxfords are up there.

Ferra, me, and Donna all dress the same. <3 lol

The hair isn't right but it was the closest I could come.. My hair is lighter and a little shorter.

Just make the hair a little shorter, a lot less curly, pretend that's a kid and not a lamb, and there you have me. Only I usualy wear skirts, not pants. I just couldn't find any skirts like the ones I wear. And these pants are the closest thing there is to my iding-pants/split-skirt.

@Clock & Donna: Yes! *high fives* I'm not alone in my (anti?)fashion. I forgot to make my shoes brown though. :0
