Anyhows, when I asked Jelly about the event commons and if they would still be discounted come event time, she mentioned that they would probably still be half-off and stuff, but she couldn't guarantee it for sure.

Hopefully this coming "simpler" events will still attract people, since now they learned that these do have event items. xDD;; But for now, we still have the Celes Paradi 2010 event that will be in the regular event style? xDD;;

I hope there will be. I honestly preferred the commons to the items themselves.

I think the commons will stay. No real honest proof to that, but even the smallest events then had at least a couple commons up for grabs. xDD;; Plus, I'm looking forward to the Halloween event commons to see if I'll finally see my set as real Mene items. 8DD;; <3<3

I guess time will tell.

I hope everything works out for them and that this doesn't push more people away like it did on kinsaki. I love both of tese places and it suck that they're both in trouble. Kinsaki a lot more so than Mene because they still have a lot of people around. Kinsaki....not so much. :(

I can't think this would be 'good' for publicity. But I'm not going to give up on Mene yet. I'm pretty stubborn in that respects. I still visit Zantarni, and it's pretty much a dead site. Even with the new change of ownership. *sigh*

I never got into Zantarni. Which is a good thing for my wallet. Two sites are enough to give donations too every month.

I had wanted to get into other sites after Gaia, but I guess after Mene I couldn't find the time to balance so many sites all at once. ^^;;

I'm staying positive about Mene's change though. :'D <3<3 I'm hoping that this change will attract more people, not just the avatar community regulars. ^^;;

It doesn't seem to me like there is any reason that they shouldnt be half off still. :/ Having it be for regular price will just seriously piss off people. We can accept that the events wont be fancy, but if they start making where its going to cost us way too much to particpate, or it wont be worth it to participate in, then no one will.

Well, Mene did have previous events that didn't half half-off commons. This was very common during the smaller events especially. So, seeing as the next two events after Celes Paradi will be "smaller events", then the possibility of commons not being half-off is still a big one, considering Mene's event trending (lulz, sounds like Twitter or something xDD). =O

But yeah, Jelly didn't say anything definite about that, so let's stay positive? ^^ <3<3

Its what I save up all my gold for, really. Dont tend to spend it on too much else.

True~ Same here. XP Well, except for my monthly supply of CIs. xDD;; Even if I'm getting even more broke by the minute, I told myself I should keep up my supplies. After the Celes Paradi event, the events will be small and...what I consider boring, in comparison to the interactive funness that is the norm. But it won't be like that forever, it's simply a stand still until the new event system is in place.

I have a lot of faith in the staff, so I mean if they say that the wait with simple/basic events will be worth it for when we get the new events, well hell I'm all for it.

Yeah I love half off commons like the rest of you, but if it means bigger and better things? I can wait.

I too got screwed over with the Shipwreck Ball thing, I didn't realize it was an event, and I was very busy so I didn't make time for it. Of course now I have to find a way to get me some hooch, but well now we know! Could have missed something bigger!

I didn't know the Shipwreck Ball was going to have anything, and I was dealing with a lot of stuff in RL, so I missed the majority of it. I think that was around the time that I was housesitting, and my little bird died. So, I was not on the computer much. :/ I had gotten two of the ship hats sent to me, though.

I missed out on all of the shipwreck items. I was without internet for a while, and shipwreck decided to take place during the period of time that they were closing one library to open the other one, so I had absolutely no internet.
