@ Radly - Its probably because you have so much of it, so people are more likely to want that. Especially since most guys are complete disgusting horn-dogs anyway, so of course thats all they're going to want. :roll:

If more people saw your potentional in stuff beyond that, then maybe they'd want that, you know? I think you can do some really neat stuff when you go beyond the videogames and smut, honestly. :yes:

@ Fading - Heh, I just wouldn't want to draw stuff like that. Probably has to do with my being a girl, though, and not having any interest in T and A. lol I'd probably be more prone to drawing muscley men, if anything, since that'd be more my type. Haha. Although, I can always a respect a beautiful women. However, I think that a bit of reality is necessary.

lol Yup, thats just how my hair is. It can be a bit of a nuisance, usually.
I have a friend whose hair is like crazy curly all around. Its just a big poof of curls. Like the springy little curls. lol Its actually really pretty.

@ crane - Thank you. o 3o

Your chibis are ones that I love, though. Haha. They're always really cute.

I'm sure, but I'm not actually open for new commissions right now anyway.
I started getting commissions for H before I really started making a lot of it.

Outside of that, if I ever develop a new style, I'm going under a new name and separating it from Rad Lionheart.
Hoping it will help in the long run, anyway.

That's sweet of you. I haven't drawn in a very long time, though.

Your hair is so long! I think mine was just past my shoulderblades when it was straight, but I chopped it all off and it's hard to keep from going back to that short pixie look. I thought the butterfly clip was really lovely. Most of the time I look like the crazy bag lady on the corner, fufufu.

I'm happy to see you use the lotus, Suona! Your avatar looks great.~

Okay, guys. i'm forcing myself to shut down my computer now and go to bed. I need to get some rest, and its getting really late. Hunger is also starting to kick in, and since that'll just wake me up more, and I already brushed my teeth, that also means bedtime. Haha.

Goodnight, everyone. ^^
Maybe we can continue some other time. o 3o

I'm not all that interested in woman with huge breasts and butts, but I'd like to know how to draw them without making all my females look like they have rocks for their racks, you know? :XD;;
A major reason why there's barely any drawings at all of females in my dA. Because I suck donkey balls at drawing them.
Also bad at drawing muscley men, I keep mutilating their chest and abs.
I'll probably stick to drawing chibi for now. :sweat:

Aww, see you later Suona! Have a good night's sleep! :)

Damn you guys for being online and actually talking about something interesting and conversational! :illgetu:

@ Rad - That sounds like a good idea, I think. And it seems for me, at least, that just doodling and sketching on and off seems to be the best bet for making a new style. A style of mine just kind of happened from doodling during class. Quite a few have come from that, actually, and its fun to see what different stuff you can come up with. I think it'd be great to see what other kinds of things you can come up with. :] Just challenge yourself, and you may be suprised. ;)

Haha. That song is funny. Friends tell me that its my theme song. xP;; One friend got smacked by his girlfriend for saying that to me, though. O_o;; Poor fellow. I thought it was funny, at least.

@ crane - Yeah, I haven't seen anything new from you in awhile. But I dont think i've ever seen anything of yours that I didn't like. Haha. I also really liked how you were taking an approach towards adding animation into a lot of your pieces. I still love the one you did for me for that magician looking avi. ^^

Haha. Yes, quite long. I had it this long once before, and then cut 14 inches off for Locks for Love. But back then I had no idea what to do with it, so it was usually just up in a ponytail all the time. But now its usually up in a bun or twisted to the side, out of my way. lol Or i'll braid it, which I usually do each night anyway, so it doesn't tangle too much. I plan to donate it again, but its hard to depart with it now. I've enjoyed having it this long, and i'm also waiting until I can figure out what other kind of hairstyle might work for me. I want something cute that I can actually pull off. :illgetu:

I keep hearing that. lol I guess I forget the lotus is there a little bit. I originally had it without the lotus, but I wouldn't manage one part of the legs well enough for my liking, and ended up covering it all up instead. xP;; But thank you very much. ^^ I like it, too.

@ Faded - Haha. I can understand that, for sure. I'd like to be able to do so, too. Even if they are a normal size, it'd be good if they looked like actual boobs, and not mishapen lumps. lol xP;;

I find that I need to work on my anatomy, too. I mean, I still cling to realism, and i'm also picky with people's bodytypes. I think that a person in good shape is whats truly beautiful, so I go for that, but in reality, most people aren't. There are many different types of body shapes, and many more that are also appealing. So, I want to be able to grasp more than just the lean and fit bodies, and also be able to do maybe the little bit heftier. However, skinnier tends to be easier. Wimpy bodies are rather simple to draw. Haha.

lol Suona XD

Yeah, that's happen most of the time when I try to draw breasts...they look like lumps of coal. XD;;

Mine's a bit shoujo-ish sort of style, because I hate details so I just pretend that they don't exist. O_o;
Unfortunately that means that all my guys all look like malnourished girls with no hips. >_>

I should practice how to draw fat people some time...and beards...and feet...gah.

I'll focus on torsos for now. I'm having the most problems with those at the moment. Then I'll worry about facial and body hair. x__x;

I wish I had sharingan eyes. At least that would help me acquire some skills regarding the anatomy...then I can worry about developing my own style rather than mimicking off manga...>.>

@ Rad - There is always paper? Dont always have to doodle with your tablet. Thats the great things about doodles. They're small and pointless. Haha.

@ Faded - lol I tend to always draw them rather medium, and can never seem to get them to look like they should. Seems like the shape is always off.

That made me chuckle. I enjoy your use of words. But I understand. Guys done really have hips, though, which is the harder part for me. I think that an hourglass shape is pretty, so I have to stop myself and make men a lot more box-y.

Yeah, for sure. Feet are something I need to fight with. I can do them realism-like, but not so much otherwise. D:

Haha. I think I lean on realism too much. Its like I have to do realism for some things before I can better understand it in a simpler form. Take this for example; I had been trying to get this pose right and wanted it to look right, so I did a bunch of sketches and stuff to grasp it better and did his face all realism, because seeing it as though he were real, makes it easier for me to think how the features simplified might look.

Click on thumbnail for full view

Thats the character I was talking about earlier, btw. Hence the nakedness. xP;;

----------

*pokes it* I didn't think it was sideways. :/ Thought I put it upright before adding it. Oh well. lol

But yeah, the stuff on the left came first, just in order to do the pose on the right. It felt good challenging myself, though, by having it done facing one way on the left, and turning to the other way. I have a hard time with that sometimes, because I am better at mimicing.

----------

And sorry for spamming you guys with so many images. ><;; Might go through and edit them out tomorrow, so that people dont have to deal with them.

lol Yeah, I know. I was exaggerating. XD
I sometimes give them a little bit of hip, though I often overdo it and they end up looking like transvestites :\ It's hard to get the angles just right....

I think the body you have drawn is great! I like drawing my bodies like that, though since my mind and hand has their own minds of their own apart from my consciousness, they tend to turn up weird most of the time. :\

I don't mind seeing all the images XD

It really is quite hard, I agree. Which is why most of my drawings are erased and drawn and erased so many times I usually give up on them. lol

The problem is that i'm never creative enough with my poses. They're usually me trying to get a grasp of who or what it is that i'm drawing, so they tend to just be a boring standing pose. So I really have fun when I challenge myself more to do an actual pose. I had fun with the slouch. xP;; I had to pose myself for it, though, to understand how it'd work. That seems to be what works best in understand how to draw a lot of stuff. Otherwise, like you said, parts just dont seem to turn out right and look kind of unnatural. lol His thighs and hips are a bit fatter than i'd have liked, though. He's supposed to be kind of tall and scrawny, so he has a little bit too much shape there. *glares it down* I'll fix it later. Haha.

Visuals help me. lol I seem to have trouble explaining things well sometimes, at least not without using way too many words, so I prefer just showing what I mean. :yes:

ALRIGHT! This time i'm really going to bed! For sure! Haha. Goodnight everyone. I shall reply later, because if I see anyones replies then i'll have the uncontrollable urge to reply. D: *posts and runs*

Haha me too! I sometimes redraw them so many times I end up scratching a hole right through the paper with all the penciling and erasing :XD;;

I like drawing different poses too, but most of the time I can only manage the standing pose. I'm currently trying to master the crouching pose, so they'd at least have a bit of variety instead just standing there stupidly all the time. :sweat: One of my problems is making their legs thick enough. I often draw them very skinny without realizing it, until I hold the drawing an arm's length away from me and notice how their legs are like arms. :headdesk:

Yeah, I have trouble describing things at times too, especially when my mind's been brainfarting on me all the time lately. Sadly I'm bad at finding visual reference most of the times as well...

lol Ok :XD See you later Suona! Sleep well and hope to see you later. :)

@ Fading - lol I never do that, but thats probably because I draw lightly for that very reason. My lines dont tend to be difficult to erase, so it doesn't really do any damange to the paper.

I haven't done any crouching ones, but that could be something interesting to work on. Did you do the art in your siggy, then? lol I have the opposite problem. My legs are usually bigger than i'd like, when it comes to men. Its just hard to not give them full thighs, because it seems like the body should flow, but guys aren't very flowing creatures. Haha

Mhmm. It just seems rather difficult to put thoughts to words that other people can understand, sometimes.

@ Pweep - Well, drawing boobie talk, at least. And I think the guys talked about them a little beyond that.
