We are all entitled to our own opinion (just as you are to yours, of course)

And it takes time to earn that gold on here. Time that could be used elsewhere, or be used working, in which you could get that real money, too. So when people nearly double the price of brand new sets, then I believe we have the right to be peeved. We weren't freaking out or having some huge tantrum about the thing. I just said that its bothersome to try to get a set for a decent price, and it annoys me that people have become more greedy on here, like on gaia. I dont see why you're making such a big deal out of this. :?

When my bf first joined I kept having to go, OMG DONT DO THAT!!!

I come for the community and dressing avatars. I find dressing avatars as an artistic sense...I find it fun. But I love to come talk to people.
We just like to pick each other at times and even though he finds my avatar sites childish, I find his constant need for his 360 childish. So we kinda have an agreement to not complain about one another's hobbies.

But he'd get bored with it. He only spends a half hour online if that...so he would never be on. XD

My brother was a trouble-maker for things like Mene. He got banned from Gaia for scamming people. >_> I was so pissed at him when I found out. However, I had been irritated that he suddenly go so many of the good items on there (never knew how he kept getting them, but he's always been good at marketing on games, so I figured that was mostly it) and he wouldn't let me borrow them or give any extras to me and stuff, but after finding out why he'd gotten banned and stuff, I realized that he was just trying to protect me from it, so thats kind of nice. Haha. Either way, I hate people that do that to other users, and I couldn't believe my own brother was one of them. :talk2hand: Punk.

His experience with avatar sites is Gaia. So that should really tell you something.

He spent his time there posting emoticons for gold, because back when he joined in 2004, that was pretty much the best way to earn gold... I did a lot of bumping too, come to think of it.

Anyways, he'd likely butt into conversations to call people out on how stupid or immature they were being, and that would lead to people reporting him, which would then lead to infractions for trolling or flaming. :rofl:

He's got strong opinions on a lot of things, and is not afraid to let you know that he opposes your viewpoint, or thinks you're shortsighted, dumb, etc.

Haha. Yeah, sleep deprivation can do that to you. And lack of food will always make you a little loopy. :P I could have slept more, and i'll probably be regretting not sleeping in when I have to go to work.

But near the end of my being on Gaia, I kind of just only did avatar contests or bumping in whatever threads there was for it. Its just not as great of a site for conversation, and I enjoy chatting with people. ^^

@Su: I am making a deal about it, but that's because I'm having an argument. Maybe an argument isn't the best word for it since it always looks more like "Having a fight" when I say that. Hmm, more like a debate in a sense in that we're discussing our opinions on the matter? You'll have to forgive me, though. Ever since I took critical thinking & argument/debate classes, I have found that I will make a point and then defend it till there's nothing else to say. So...even though I've made wordy posts, I'm only taking the situation so far. I'm not angry or upset, I'm just discussing and defending points being made by both parties just like Monstahh is. Once we start insulting each other and calling each other bad names, that's when you should be concerned about taking things too far or too seriously.

@Nell: It's good that you guys have that balance between yourselves. I feel there's always something like that somewhere in a relationship. xD

We balance one another pretty well. I love it. It think that's what makes us so compatible.

I wish I had that hat. :< It's so rare and expensive, though. xD Perhaps one day I'll be able to save up my gold and draw enough pictures and get it.

That's great! These days it's hard to find a couple that is actually happy. Not saying that you and your man are the only ones, but around here (for the most part) I see people who are in it for other reasons like being forced or for more selfish reasons. True love is hard to find.

Yeah, RPing was my big thing on Gaia. I got really involved in Breedable/Changing Pets over there, but now that i'm on Mene more, I've pretty much abandonded all my characters with the exception of one (maybe two). XP

I had a couple of quest threads where my RL friends and I would hang out while we were all at work, but now most of them have blocked Gaia (and other 'social networking'-type sites) so we moved to a different forum, and they blocked that too.

So Gaia's been abandoned by most of my friends, which is sad. I still go there to check out new items, post in one or two B&C threads and read Site Feedback, but that's about it.

Anyways yeah, Ian would wreak all kinds of havoc on Mene, and I would not like that. He can stick to to his manga websites. XP

I could never use love for selfish needs. It's not love then. It's abuse of emotions. :( My sister does that, though, and it's horrible to watch.
But true love is a hard thing to find...and I'm not even sure if I've found it, but it'd definitely love and I'll make it as true as can be.

We tend to disagree about some things, and I love debating, so sometimes we get into huge "debates" that turn into fights because we're both horrendously stubborn. xD

But on the other hand, he keeps me in check most of the time and keeps me from falling off the deep end on a daily basis.
But then I help round him out and keep him calm the once a month he loses his shit completely and freaks out. xDD

It's weird but it works and we're so happy. c:

I'm going to miss him. He's going back home for an unknown as of yet amount of time. :C

I'm rather stubborn of my side, too. lol But i'm usually a person that prefers to just agree to disagree and not argue or debate. I get protective of my side, and irriated, so then i'll be all grumpy. ><;; And i've been dealing with a ton of stressful stuff in RL right now, and have been all PMS-y, so my fuse is pretty short lately. D: I've been trying to avoid conflicts and just do stuff to keep my mind off things. Probably why I haven't been on Mene much lately.

lol Yeah, that was another thing! The breedable/changing pets were something I had gotten a bit into, also. There was some horse one that I was on all the time, but I didn't have any horses because they were really expensive. But I won a little bunny character of my own one time. And I'd had some little thing from another site that you had to feed and stuff. Evidently they have their own big pretty website now. But I tried to go back to take care of my pet and stuff, but it had been deleted. :/ I was very upset. D:

I dont really have many RL friends that are online as much as me. Well, they are online, but they are the kind that just play WoW. :roll: I wont play it, though. My closest friends use to go on Gaia, but since we all grew out of that, I dont chat with them on any online sites anymore. Which is unfortunate. I wish they would come on Mene. :gonk: Two made accounts on here, but stopped coming. :/

I forget about Gaia usually. D: I dont really bother doing much if I do go on, either. Just check a few things, and then get off.
