I use to bite my nails to deal with nerves and stuff but I haven't bit my nails in years.

Hm, well, Latvia is small country at Baltic sea in Northern Europe, with little over 2 million people and the number shrinks as more and more people leave. Most here are jobless and without any prospect in life, so they go and wash dishes and pick mushrooms in Ireland, England, Spain and many other countries. We have huge country debt, we're part of EU. We have beautiful nature, but more and more of it is ruined as other countries buy up and chop out our forests. We have little to no manufacturing going on, we buy everything and that's why it's expensive. One of our 'riches' is amber. People usually think we're somewhere as cold as North Pole, but we experience all seasons and this year, there hasn't even been any decent snow! It gets really hot in summer, too.

Wow that's really sad. I'm a nature kinda gal and I hate to see it when it's destroyed, as well as a country. =/ And feel free to tell me anything you want. I'm all ears today. :)

Yes, it's quite sad. ):

We have a long history of being ruled over by other countries. We have old castles, not all of the fancy kind, too, but real fortress-type. We suffered a lot during both world wars. We have many, many ghosts! And myths&stories. Our old religion, before Germans took over and made old latvians Christians was very humane, and we don't even have the typical cruel devil, he's more of a silly prankster. Hm. Not sure what else to say without questions.

Hmm. I'm totally going to have to look up about your country. I love history, it's probably my favorite. I mean I'm not that great at remembering years and whanot, but still I love it. :)

That' just wow sad, I hate it when other religions wipe out a religion they don't like.

i know how that goes, but I didn't want to forget to nom some of the ones I saw, I can always usually talk someone into nomming someone for me that doesn't use their noms. xD
