There are so many outfits I'm in love with this week.
Wolfie: I read somewhere that most cats are wary of attention, so they immediately notice the person giving them the least amount of attention and go to them instead of to the people talking to them and trying to pet them.

There seriously is a law for that? I don't think that exists here...
Even so, a cat on a leash feels really weird to me. I believe dogs are in general more domesticated then cats, and my cats always have this je m'en foutism over them, like they will only do as they please and not because you tell them to.. though I have read stories about cats being potty trained and using a human toilet to leave their.. uhm belongings o_O

That explains it then. xD
Hime- I know it is a law in GA, but it is one of those ignored laws. xD You know, the kind they only enforce if people are complaining about it?
x.x Try telling that to soldier. They are more like felines than canines. I sometimes question if soldier is even a canine as hard headed as he is. xD And when he finally gives in to what you tell him to do, he is slow about it. x.x He is not a bad dog of anything, and he is trained well, he just has a mind of his own. And he is a neat clean freak too. And will do anything not to sit in the grass, dirt or concrete, including sitting on the other dogs. xD

I like both dogs and cats, but I'd probably get a dog because I want to take it for walks and stuff.. walking a cat doesn't seem right, like someone mentioned before. XD;

lol, Soldier will sit on ANY kind of animal if it will keep his butt clean. xD Hell, when he was puppy he would LAY on Buster to stay clean. xD It was so ADORABLE!!! xD
Another cat characteristic of his was when we still had a lounge chair, we would take naps out there and then feel something climb on us and lay down. xD Soldier it would be. x.x I have had my cousins cat do that at her house when I spent the night and I nearly had a heart attack. xD
Plus, soldier cats rats x.x Yeah. I think he is a cat stuck in a dogs body.
But I think I will always prefer canines over house cats. But indoor outdoor cats are fine. <3 I miss Friskey T_T

He is, but he can be territorial/protective, but only when he is in the backyard or someone approaches us when walking and i get nervous. :/
He doesn't like strange grown dogs, or strange males at all when he is in the backyard. You take him out he is perfectly fine. Unless I get nervous or whoever is walking him. And dogs he gets used to when he is in the backyard(ie. neighbors dogs), he will go ballistic if they bark or growl threateningly at us. He is kind of weird, but I love him for it. xD I guess when you can actually find him and get him to come out of his cubby hole in the backyard, he is a good guard dog. xD He is just lazy and stealthy. xD
Oh another cat characteristic of his: he LOVES tall grass. I mean, if you put him in the monkey grass I can imagine the "In the Jungle" song from lion king playing. :lol:

@ Winter - Thats good though. That means he wants to protect you guys.
My lab is really sweet and just moves everyone, but she can get really protective. If she hears anyone in or near our house that she doesn't know then she barks at them a lot. But if I take her on a walk then she has to smell everyone we walk by and gets all happy. But this one time we were at a parade during the fourth of July and she acted like I have never seen before. I had her on a leash and I was with my friend and we were walking through a crowd, and when one guy was walking towards us (just going thorugh the crowd, not heading for us directly) and she just freaked. She started to woof a little and whine and she started to struggle to get out of the leash. She was cowering away from him and yanking on her leash and woofing really low. It was scary. He just stopped and stared at her and then kept walking when I pulled her to the side. And then later that day she was sitting on the ground with my mom on the side of the steet, waiting for the parade, when and older gentleman was walking across the sidewalk to the other side of the street and she just watched him and started growling. The type of growl where she is going to attack if you get near enough to her and give her a reason. She she just watched him the whole time, and then he sat on the other side of the street and she growled and would woof a little, but my mom hushed her so she didn't cause a scene.
When she acts like that, it really spooks me. I mean, you take a funloving dog, that just adores everyone, and then have her act that way and you cant help but wonder what the hell kind of horrible things that person has done or how horrible they are to scare/upset her like that. It certainly makes you think twice.

I like both dogs and cats, but I think I prefer dogs.
I've seen people walking cats on leashes before, it just seems really strange to do so though... xD I don't think I'd ever do that xD;
Anyway, I updated, sorry for taking so long again. It's almost voting time so make sure you get your noms in before then.

My friend has the most adorable cat I've ever met. She has this broken tail from when she was little because it got run over somehow, but you guys, she is a total dog. Her name is Skittles (melissa got her when she was 7) and I kid you not, she plays fetch, and eats dog food, and loves attention and its crazy. I don't think I've ever seen a cat that was more doglike in my life!
Anyways, I love my dogs. My older dog is a german shepherd mutt and he's just the sweetest thing I've ever seen. He's such a coward haha. All talk and no action right. Like, if someone were trying to break into our house, he would bark and bark and bark at the guy, but if he came close to my dog, he would probably run and hide somewhere xD He has no backbone, I swear. And he loves everyone. Only reason he wouldn't like you is if you hurt him somehow.
By my younger dog, is vicious! I think he would eat you if you gave him the chance. Actually, he wouldn't eat you haha. He doesn't like raw meat xD But still, I think he would love to play the hunter if you ever came close to us and he didn't know you or whatever. But he's such a playful little booger that aside from him being over protective, he's too cute.

The pitbull mix puppy my neighbors just got is like your german shepard mix Seiki! He is too cute! >.< He barks at me, causes soldier to go crazy, and I walk to the fence and he goes quiet and starts licking my hand. >.< I want to steal the neighbors dog >.> But he barks too much compared to my doggies.
Soldier is the younger of our two pit mixes and he is pretty much how I describe. I have never seen him go out of character on anyone outside the fence and off our property. And at least he has a good sense of character of my aunt dottie....that is he hates her. I would too if the bitch didn't give them food and water when we went to TN last year like she said she would...
Buster, my older pit mix, is just a huge teddy bear. If is a bog lush and goofball. xD And I swear the dog has a personality all his own. Almost everything is a game to him. And he just loves to get attention and be huggged and held. xD Dude...he is too big to be held, but he will still climb up in your lap. He is also ADD. He normally will listen to you, but if he sees a squirrel, omg. x.x you can't get his attention unless you grab him by the collar. xD He loves everyone though. I haven't seen him get mean to anyone, but I know he has the potential if we were threatened the way him and soldier play.
Wolfman....meanest little chow mix I have ever met. and I mean little. xD He has doxen in him too. xD He is no bigger than a Pomeranian is poofy. He is longer though. xD But yeah...he only loves my sister. She can do almost anything to him and the ass will not even growl. He would use to growl at me if I LOOKED at him wrong. xD And he has attacked me for no reason before too. x.x one of the times (the last time) we really think it was an accident though. Since then he has been the perfect angel to me. In fact, he will try to climb in my lap which freaks me out. x.x He is 10 years old though. xD

Oh wow, thanks for the nomination, Fiziali! It was such a pleasant suprise when I found out.
Dog/pet/cat conversation- Like others have said, I like cats, but I'm definitey a dog person. :3 I grew up with them, so I am rather biased.
A friend of mine puts her cat on a leash, just to take her out in the yard. She's still learning that is IS actually possible to move while on a leash, poor kitty. :XD

Ese- The funny thing is, she come running when she sees the leash, because it means she gets to go outside. She was declawed by the time the family got her, so it's not really safe to let her out on her own, especially since lots of the other cats in the neighborhood have claws and do fight amongst one another.
And yet as excited as she gets, she just... doesn't move once she's on it. But apparently she moved from one chair on their porch to another with it on the other day, so she's getting there! :)
Suona- I bet my cat would do much the same, and then try to rip it off. He's done the same thing to three or four collars by this point, I imagine a leash would displease him even more. XD

Our cat actually use to wear a collar.
We had a flea one for him sometimes, and one with a bell.
But the problem is that when our dog was younger she use to play with him, and she would grab him by the collar and drag him across the yard. So in order to make sure he didn't get hurt, we had to stop putting collars on him.
