Nah, it's not really shady or suspicious. He likes his privacy. Those that are close to us know that we're together. But our general friends and those that are outsiders, only know that we are good friends.

I trust him and he trusts me. So it works for now.

Eventually we'll become a public couple, but first he'd like it just to be the two of us and those closest to us. His family [all of his family, not just his parents] knows and that's the biggest commitement he's ever made to anyone. I am a bit tired of having to be careful of what I say and do in public, but it could be worse.

I wouldn't do something like that, but it's just me.

It's tiring, but he's worth the trouble. I have known him for four years now and have seen his last few relationships. I understand his need for privacy and respect it.

It just gets exasperating.
