What's funny is the one that I was going to pick for my third favorite ended up being the one I liked the most once I thought about it. xD

I'll try to vote here from now on. I love seeing what people do with their avatars. Menewsha's got some crazily creative people. :yes:

You voting for the Democrat or the Republican? XP I don't know either well enough to say I'd vote for one or the other -- all I know is that this vote will determine how our health care issue goes...

I prefer to vote for people than for parties.

The issue comes down to Martha Coakley, who supports the health care plan, and Scott Brown, who doesn't. While I'm not particularly a fan of either of them, I'm voting for Martha because she has more experience and seems like the better candidate.

The only reason we're having an election right now is because one of our senators died. XD

I probably shouldn't have an XD face directly after a statement about someone dying.

I'm getting pretty nervous about the election. At this point, it seems like it could swing either way.

If I were a Massachusetts resident, I'd probably be voting for Martha Coakley too. I just have to wonder if she really has a chance right now. Brown has so much grassroots support that, if all of his followers go out to vote today, then he'll have quite the crowd behind him. It's all just a matter of who gets to the polls. :-/

I forgot their names at that moment, so I had to refer to them as Republican and Democrat. XP Normally I vote for the person I think would better serve my needs... But since I don't live in Mass., I don't really know about either of them. The only thing I do know is that this election will help decide the health care issue. And I'm still on the fence on that subject too -- I have health care provided by my job, so I'm not sure how it's going to affect me unless I get a new job or am laid off. Both of which I don't see happening.

I think more younger adults needs to vote in more elections.
How else could Prop 8 pass in CALIFORNIA? = .='
Kids are lazy and don't know how important voting is.

</rant>

* w* So it's good to hear that some of you guys are going out to vote.
I'm about to move to NC.
So I might be registering to vote, might not. We're only living there until the end of the semester, then we're moving to where-ever he's going to graduate school..

Sizz: I just commented because my roommate is an over-the-top democrat and it drives me nuts. She's dating this guy who she says is incredibly sweet and one of the nicest guys she's ever gone out with, but she's thinking about breaking up with him because he's a moderate--not even Republican, moderate.

I admit I don't know that much about Obama's health care plan, but I know we have a similar thing here in Massachusetts (commonwealth care). Everyone in Mass is required to have health insurance, and that's the only reason I have it. I wouldn't be able to afford it otherwise.
