I was really into a webcomic called LeveL for a long time but the updates slowed down and it's been ages since I've read it now. It's a really crazy webcomic, but it's a good one.

Hurt animals exhaust my poor mind. I stress out so bad because I want to help them, that I just tire myself it seems.

Took the dove back out after my mom got home and re-cleaned its wound and put some ointment back on and then we wrapped up its wing so that its trapped against its body and it can't flap all around. It was a lot more energetic this time around, so it wasn't as easy. I guess eating and drinking, and probably resting a little, made it more awake and aware. But we finally wrapped it, and then it was completely chill. Haha. Probably figured it was so immobilized that it might as well not try to scuttle off.

Piperka is basically an RSS feeder for comics. It will tell you which of your comics have updated and how many times it's updated, and then it'll take you to the last unread strip. So, for example, if you go out of town for a week and don't have a chance to read your comics, it'll say

Least I Could Do 7 updates
Megatokyo 1 update
Phoenix Requium 3 updates

So on so forth. And you click on the link, and it takes you right to the last unread strip. It just makes things so much simpler. That's why I can read so many strips.

Heh, I know how you feel. I keep getting roped into kitten rescues despite my allergies to cats. Luckily, by the time they can start cleaning themselves (and thus, make their fur allergen ridden), I usually have homes for them. Except the stroke kitten who was insanely difficult and eventually went to my grandfather (because he didn't want me to put him down).

There are definitely comics that I lost track of before I started using it. But now, even the ones I still like that only update every month or so, I know immediately when they update.

Does 9th Elsewhere even still update? I mean, it just sort of died off.

There are way too many cats in this world. People just let their cats cruise around, and then they gets all these cats that are pregnant, and so many people just dump the kittens. And there are so many strays that continuely reproduce and then you just have these groups of cats. My friends neighbor has toons of cats because they just stay outside and get pregnant time and time again. :/

Yeah, I might go to bed in a couple hours. I need to be at the doctors around 8am anyway, and its about a half an hour drive.

Indeed. The vet school has a feral cat spay/neuter program, but it's still absurd. But I can't just let wee kittens who still have to be bottle fed die.

Steel: It hasn't in forever, unfortunately. It was one of my favorites. RPG World doesn't either. And Boy Meets Boy, Inverloch, and Better Days are all over (which is different than not updating anymore). I like to keep everything on my list, though. Just in case. They may start updating again, or I may want to go back and reread them.

@Cami: Thank you for telling me about Piperka. I just made an account. I can tell it's going to make things a lot easier already. :)

I know what you mean.
We save any kittens or dogs that we find. I can't stand to let animals get hurt, and I know how cruel some people can be. I wont chance leaving an animal to run around and have a bad person capture them and hurt them. :(
I've heard some horrible stories before. I can't understand how people can do it. Some people if their cat has kittens and they dont want them, they will put them all in a bag with a big rock and drop them in the water. It just makes me sick.

I should be paid by piperka, the number of people I've sent to them. XD

Suona: My grandparents once found a little wiener dog running back and forth across the highway. They brought him home and he was the friendliest thing, clearly someone's pet, but they couldn't find who he belonged to or figure out how he got on the highway. They worry someone may have just dropped him off.

Haha, it's complicated. He's the first guy I've managed to like since I broke off my engagement (three years ago). And he likes me....but he's got school and I'm about to go back to vet school....and....complications.

Complications suck. :/

They do, but, well, we're still friends. And I need friends way more than I need a boyfriend. So I'm happy just being fluttery on my own.

Friends is good. *loves her friends* I've never had a boyfriend, but I'm doing just fine so far. Sure it'd be nice to have one, but I'll live. ^^

Boyfriends make things more complicated, honestly. I've almost never *not* had a boyfriend. And then I got engaged and realized that I was really much happier by myself for a while. Heh. My dogs are my life.
