There used to be a lottery on Menewsha. I think it was weekly. And then there was some huge issue with it. Like people were doing some kind of cheat. I don't really remember all of the details, except that everyone on the site got 6K, and they shut down the lotto.

I swear it was for the lotto glitch that everyone got 6K... I remember the staff worrying about inflation and encouraging everyone to spend their 6K on commons, but I saved mine for my quest.

Coulda been for the fishing glitch too, though.

We got a huge chunk of pure for something. XD The more I think about it, the more I think it was the fishing glitch from the original fishing game. They didn't want to have to rollback because they didn't have a recent save point, so instead they gave everyone gold.

I worshipped that 6k so hard. I think it was for the fishing actually, and not the lottery. They gave 6k to everyone who played the game the right way and worked their way up, and those who cheated on fishing got nothing. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what happened.

I remember Logan/Azure was banned right around that time for exploiting the fishing glitch to get like 300k in pure, which was a shit ton of gold back then.

It still IS a shitton of gold.
