SO HOMIGOSH, my teacher just sent me a link to this contest for traveling and I have to make a two-four minute video on why they should pick me (it's basically a job for travel blogging. They send you to a country and ask you to blog about it and pay for all your expenses and stuff!)

They pick 6 people and send them to 6 different places, and you get picked on the amount of votes you get...I'm really thinking of entering :O!! (this would be like the first time I enter something like this, I'm nervous!)

After posting that though I read the terms and services...it's BULLSHIT.

You basically get a free flight, and hotel and if you go on like mini trips on the trip but you have to pay for the meals, transfers, and any thing else you need (aka internet, phone etc.) this would cost A LOT depending on where you go (think Asia or Europe!) BUT I was still going to apply, and then I read "trips are 15 days long and take place during May 17th and July 11th"...I'm gone for a week starting June 12th! My best friend is getting married in Turks and Caicos and so I have to be there (I'm in the wedding LOL)

SO NOW, I can't apply if I wanted to!

A well, there will be more opportunities!

I know that if I asked her if she minds if I go to this, she would be for it 1OO%, but at the same time I KNOW she'd be hurt...we're best friends and she's only getting married once (hopefully LOL) so to miss out on it for a travel opportunity when we BOTH (her and I) know that I will travel the world eventually LOL, would just be jerkish :P
