I just got Guitar Hero III (for Wii) on Monday. I've been playing non-stop. I'm not very good, and even though I completed Easy, I still cannot attempt to beat Raining Blood (that song is the devil!). As Medium is a major struggle for me, I'm going back and re-doing all of my Easy songs so that they're all 5 stars.

I got bored today and played "Slow Ride" on Medium. I may have only gotten 74% (as opposed to 98% or so on Easy), but I passed. It's no big accomplishment, but I'm so proud.

Ever feel amazingly proud over silly little triumphs? Isn't that what makes reaching big goals fun?

I once played just one task in Crash Bandicoot on PS1 for 2 hours straight until I beat it. I was very twitchy.

Gosh I used to love that game. Frustrating as hell since I'm not good with video games.

Cool. Though, I never really liked guitar hero, but it's cool when you improve just little by little. I know a guy who played it for like a year until he could be good enough to like reach like, i think it was called hard? I don't know. But your improving fast. ^^ God job.

I have a couple friends who play on Expert but can't beat that song no matter how hard they try.
I normally play on hard but I'm only about half way through, hooray for bonus songs which prevent you from going crazy trying to beat one song. xD

@ < 3- How d'you get the bonus songs? I see the tab thing for it, but it's always empty.

I got GH3 over the weekend for the Wii, too, and am obsessed with it! Only problem is, I can't play when my dad's home cos he doesn't like it. >.< I think my best song is "Slow Ride," mostly because I keep pushing the green fret too many times to get to the playlist xD
One of my friends can play a song on Expert (forgot what song), with the guitar behind his head and without looking at the screen. Crazy, eh?

At school, there's this guy who sets up a slack-line (like a tight-rope except...slack) a couple days a week in the courtyard. It's so wobbly, it's difficult to even get a foot on it. Once you get past that, you have to be able to stand! And the once you got that, you have to be able to take a step. When I took my first step, I was so happy! It was like...

Me: "*takes step* I did it! I did it! *falls over and hits ground*"
Others around: "That looked like it hurt! Are you okay?"
Me: "*still on ground* Ha ha! I did it! ....ow."

Guitar hero is amanzing. Sadly I only have the wii but its so much fun. Is the third one out for the wii by anychance or something else?
I can't wait for guitar hero to released world tour though. Now that one should be fun!

Oh goodness. I'm an avid rhythm gamer; I can relate.
When we first got Guitar Hero III, I played Easy with my pinky curled up against my hand. The step up to medium was awful! The first time I beat something on Medium (probably Slow Ride as well) I felt so awesome I could burst through the ceiling. And it's just a video game! xD My brother was no help in my feeling of victory, though. He just walked by and went, "Pfffsh, I can beat that on Hard!"
Goodness. It felt so good to surpass him by beating Green Grass and High Tides on Expert when we got Rock Band. xD Now I'm just bragging. I'll shut up now.

Have fun with the game, by the way! You'll find plastic guitar to be addictive.

I remember playing Final Fantasy X and then getting stuck in a fight with this Al Bed tank.
It was soooo hard to beat. D;
I was stuck there for at least 2 months when I finally gave up and forgot about it. Then a few weeks later I got bored and decided to play again, but I loaded the game in a much earlier stage.
So I started there and tried to fight as much as I could and yadayada ~

Then when I finally beat the tank, I was soooo happy. I felt like I just won the lottery.

Then I got stuck again ..

But now i've finished the game so it's all good, haha.

we have this hippo game in our science class. its a plastic thingy that has holes in it and little hippos with pegs on the bottom. the pegs are all different lengths. you have to fit all the hippos into the holes so they go flat. it took the smartest girls in the school 3 weeks to get it. it took me two minutes when chris finally let me have it.

I hope to get Rockband soon. I played it in school before; It's so amazing.

Arg, Raining Blood and One on hard is freakin insane. Neither my friend or myself can pass and we're about to lose our minds. XD
You'll eventually get good and be able to do the harder levels, as long as you keep practicing. I never thought I'd be able to do hard, let alone get five stars on almost all the songs but ya never know.

Think guitar hero is hard, try the real thing. I'm joyous just because I have callouses on my fingers and it doesn't hurt as much to play.

On the topic though, I become quite joyous when I beat my high scores in Tetris.

Little things do make me feel better and I feel quite proud of them. XD; I guess a time it happened would be a few hours ago when I couldn't get my tablet to work, I spent an hour or two trying to figure out was wrong, when the cord had come out from an end I couldn't see.. >>;;;; I felt so stupid and so proud when I figured it out. XD;

You need to purchase the bonus songs in the guitar store, I think they run for about 500$ (In game money) a piece. ^-^

People who can play hard astound me. XD I try to use the orange button and I end up fucking myself over because I have to look down.

I play call of duty with this one guy who is just amazing at it and I just suck. I shot him once after he killed me a billion times and I felt extremely proud.

It's alright. When I first played guitar hero 3 I was very good and my friend made me p-lay hard start away. the trick i find that works well with me isw that I play for about two weeks in a row then I have a week off. Then I will go back on it for another two weeks and so on. when didn't play it for that week and hopped back on it I found that I couldn't play and missed everything but then all the sudden after playing about twenty minutes you'll start doing things that you never thought you could do. Give this technique and try and see how it works for you.

I don't play guitar Hero, but we did get DDR Hottest Party XD I could not do it when I first got it. I have 2 left feet. Now, me and my sister are clearing the difficult stages after only a month or 2. It's a great workout ^_^ You just need to practice it lots and you'll get it<3

I know exactaly how you feel! I play Rock Band on XBox 360 at my freind's house, and Guitar Hero 3 on my Brother's XBox 360. I was so flipping proud of myself the first time I beat a song! And then when I moved onto medium... Hoo man! I was thrilled.

I beat a song on hard recently. You should have seen the jumping and dancing. :P

I feel awesome when I get something off my quest list. I know that it is just a pixel on an online site, but it still mkes me feel happy.

And I have that game for PS3 and... Just wait untill you beat the devil and you get the song at the end. It. Is. AWESOME.

And it will break your fingers. On easy. If you pass ;_____;

this might sound like a horrible thing to say, but one of my proud moments was the other day at work when I was working together with a certain co worker (I'm a Barista part-time) And she was being a real jerk, then right before she left she made a drink for one of our regulars and right AFTER she left the regular brought the drink back to me and said it was completely undrinkable. I re-made it and it was much better.

Now, I know that the girl who was a jerk had no idea that she messed up, but I knew, and just knowing MYSELF that little miss "I can do no wrong" messed up and I fixed it made me feel better.

No, I don't have a superiority complex, I told you it probably wasn't a nice reason to feel proud
