I... love my hair... >>;
Well, today I got a haaair cuut... >>;
At first, I was kind of skeptic over whether I liked it or not - it was shorter than I what I had in mind by a few inches. Then, my ( sometimes ) wiiiiise friend told me that if you don't like your haircut at first, try doing different things with it! :D And that's what I did -- I changed my side part of three years into... a... I don't know what to call it part. >>; But I changed it, and moved my bangs the other way for once -- and now, I absolutely no doubt LOVE how it looks. <3 So, spoons: - Bad haircuts? - Bad haircuts turning into AWESOME haircuts? - Spoons > all other utensils? ( YES. ) - A bad thing turning into a really good thing? - The sunny side of things? :D] |

Ah, there was this time when I was reading manga, while the hairdresser was cutting my hair, and he gave me back a fringe I spent 4 years growing out =.= though it's grown out now :D

Me and my mom finally changed stylists, so now I'm just growing my hair out. I asked the first to cut it up to the base of my neck.. SHE CUT IT ALL THE WAY UP TO MY CHIN. Q____Q It now hits my collarbone, but it took forever to grow it out. |

I've had my hair half-way down my back all through high school and decided to get it cut to my shoulders. It looks really good like that, but my hair grows back so fast. Last time I went I also got purple highlights, but they kinda disappeared really fast. I need to find out if she can make them last longer.

I actually really like my hair short... my hair grows really fast so by the time I git fall it's already alomst down to my shoulders... but I have to get my bangs trimmed like every three weeks... so I do it myself Dx
I iwsh my hair would stay the same though because I used to be able to spike it up in the back and now I can't >; |

O: I have a friend who got highlights at the mall last year, and she still has them. xD Well, she got them again halfway through the year, but they're looking pretty good. xD I don't know for sure where she gets them, though... =P @ Mimuu: Awww. D: Gack, I suck at trimming bangs! xD I used to try to do it myself to avoid going to the hairdresser just to get them trimmed... they always come out terrible. ^^; How do yours look? O: I mean, I know they say that you're supposed to get a trim every 6 weeks, but I mean... I don't know anyone who could really do that. o0; Maybe you can try styling your hair as medium-length while it grows out, and once you get it cut again you can spike it and stuff? :D; I mean, do what you can, right? ^^; |
Yeah I did that a lot but I kind of gave up. my hair is very thick and can get really oily. I have to wash it every day Dx. The last time i cut it, I decided to get all the dye out of my hair so I could grow it out.
Now it has this swooshed to the side bangs look. (it looks kind of like my avie's actually just dark brown, almost black.) a lot of people wish they had black hair... Dx but it's so gross to take care of. That's why I have it short. Since people think I look a bit like a boy though, I've decided to just go ahead and grow it out. :| |
I have my friend cut my hair and she knows what I like and what I don't so I haven't had a problem with not liking my hair in a long time. I don't really let her dye my hair anymore though unless I want highlights or something like that since last time she dyed my hair an unnatural shade of red and I had to redye it because I couldn't wear it to work. It was still an awesome colour though.

When i was about 6 or 7, i had a haircut, in which my massively thick hair was thinned. It looked horrendous. He just hacked bits of my hair off at different, and it looked like i'd been attacked with hedge clippers. It took forever to grow out, and my hair would always stick out at strange angles. Thats really the only bad haircut i've had.
I've had ones that at the time i liked, but looking back i think, i must have been mad to want that. |

Last December, I got my hair cut short. Significantly shorter than my avatar's. And that was as short as I'd ever had it. I expected it to feel weird, but in fact, it felt as though my hair had been that way all along. It just felt so natural. It fit me! So since then, I've just been trimming my hair myself, here and there, whenever I felt that it was too long. It's short enough and haphazard enough that it really doesn't matter, and it's kind of hard to mess up. If I do mess up, by cutting it too short, it grows back quickly, and I can just wear hats or use hair products in the meantime xP. |
I change my "side parts" every few months xP gives a hair cut a whole new look :3

I had a fringe when I was little, but I hated the look of it so I grew it out. Then a few years ago, I decided to get a fringe again to hide my huge forehead (and I was in puberty so a fringe would cover zits nicely), but the fringe looked really nerdy. So I took a pair of scissors, cut it into a slight V-shape... and it looked a squillion times better. >:3

I absolutely love my hair being long. I had long hair when I was kid, and then I got it cut to my shoulders, which wasn't so bad. Then I was trying to grow out my bangs and when those got to about my chin, I had my hair cut to my chin. Well that was just horrible! I probably did that back in 4th or 5th grade and I haven't had a drastic haircut since then, which has been about 9 or 10 years.

I have reeaaallly short hair for a girl, and the last time I had a haircut the stylist cut it about an inch too short. I didn't like the way it looked and I could barely style it. But two weeks later my hair had grown enough to get rid of the damage.

Yeah, but I keep my hair up almost all the time so it's not like I actually style it or anything. >__>;; But I ALWAYS cut my own bangs. No one else touches them. Throughout my entire childhood, my mother always got my bangs done at Great Clips, and they were NEVER even. Ugh. I look kind of awkward without bangs, so I just make them nice and wispy. :3 |

When I was little,my mother always used to cut my hair VERY short,almost in a little "solder" way. It's wasn't that bad,in fact I sometimes tricked peoples telling them I was a boy and my name was Michael. They believed me! :lol: But I got used to it,and I letted my hair grow...I must tell that I was damn happy with my hair long,just long,without bangs or anything,but then I has a sickness and my hair began falling...:| We cutted it again... Anyway. Now I have an a little "anime" hair. I have long hair,but the top layer of my hair is short,so I tease it and use some hairspray to get it all messy and puffy. I also have big side bangs cutted straight. I also have a big fringe,you know,emo style,the one over my right eye. And I am blonde. =3 Not so long ago,I got the end of my long hair dyied in black,and when the dye will totaly kill the end of my hair (yes,black hair dye is bad for hair,at least for mine),I will cut it. Simple like that =3 Now I am in love with my hair. :heart: |
LOL, that's how I was a few days ago when I got a haircut. I just wasn't sure whether it was a good or bad haircut or not... It wasn't what I had in mind, and the way the lady blow-dried and styled it it looked like... D: David Bowie-ish.
For a few days I was in terrible shape, because I'm terrible with maintenance haircuts. Then I just tried blow-drying and straightening my hair to get rid of a bit of the poofiness, and I LOVED it. <33 |

I love my hair, I just wish it was straight, instead it has little waves >.< The only bad hair cut I ever had was when I got it cut short, everyone else liked it, but I thought it was awful XD I guess I just love long hair :sweat: |
Once I was going to cosplay a character who had red hair, so my mom and I tracked down some non-permanent red hair dye. When we put it in, though, my hair was pretty much a dark bubble gum pink, not red, and stayed that way for a good six months or so, despite washing my hair thoroughly. XD
My RL friends got a blast out of it, though. :lol: |
I had really bad haircuts in elementary school...besides first grade. But that wasn't my fault, my mom wouldn't let me grow my hair out and I looked weird with short hair. As for bad haircuts turning into awesome haircuts, well, in fifth grade, I went to China and I got a haircut there, and my mom told the person to give me a trim but the person thought she said boy cut, so I ended up getting my hair really short and people would keep thinking I was a boy....but after a while, when it grew out, I really like the layers I had...>_____>;;
