YEP, all the time. I'm in my 20s and get pegged at 17 ALLLLLLL THE TIME. I don't mind it a bit, but when I was 17 I got 12 more than once, which always struck me as very odd. I had a 13 year old raver kid all in love with me once and he was sure i was like 12... It was kind of offputting. Just know that you'll look younger for the majority of your life, and after a certain period, it's a wonderful fantastic thing :D

People always assume I'm just a short college student. Technically I go to the community college for some classes, but that's all! They assume I go to the University around here. It's pretty freaking hilarious. xD
Last year (I had just turned 16), I was flying out to Oklahoma to visit some family and on the plane when I asked for some tomato juice, the stewardess tried to pour me a bloody mary automatically. lol! |
I'm 21, and I'm constantly being pulled over by cops for driving under age. XDDD I don't drink, so I don't have to worry about that, but I'm forever being carded for R-rated movies and mature videogames.
I've had waaay too many people gripe at me in various places for 'skipping school', and refusing to believe me when I tell them how old I am. I even had one older lady lecture me for about 20 minutes in a bookstore about how jr. high was the most important part of your education, because you're just entering the adult world and need to learn to deal with more responsibility. Aaaanndd...a mini lecture on lying. XD I had to show her my driver's license before she would even think about believing me. ^^; Apparently, at 5 feet tall and young-looking, I look like a 7th grader. I don't really mind, though, cuz my boyfriend thinks it's cute. Plus the fact that I can completely annihilate the 'professional' video-game players/workers at the nearest gamer's store gives him a fit, because not ONE of them has ever believed a '12-year old GIRL' could hand them their @$$. XDDD Looking 9 years younger than your age has some advantages. >3 |
i used to always be mistaken for like being a freshman during my junior year. i guess its a good thing sometimes

I was carded the other day by a girl who looked shocked when she saw my age.
I think people think I'm younger than I am. I usually get carded if I go to a bar or casino. I'm young enough to still get carded but in some instances, like I don't think I really look under eighteen but I could see twenty-one. |
That never happened to me. If it did I'd kick their butt and tell them I'm a whole lot smarter than them because they judge people by looking at them and guessing their age and I don't.

I get mistaken for older than I am, which I find odd because I think I look younger than I am.

There was a boy named Justin, who was two years under us, who rode the same late bus as me and my two friends. I heard about how he had thought that my friend, who was either a Junior or a Senior in high school at the time, was in 6th grade, and couldn't be convinced otherwise. Then one day, I was on the late bus with them, and Justin thought I was in 8th grade. Later, I ended up on the same bus as him, he's really funny.
Another time on the late bus (a different one this time), a middle schooler (7th or 8th grade I think) thought I was in 8th grade too, and didn't believe that I was a Senior. Not even my friend, who was 18 or 19, could tell him different. It's kinda weird, I'm short, but I didn't think I looked all that young:sweat: |
I am in my mid 20's and yesterday several elderly ladies thought I was a teenager. It was kind of funny. But when I told them how old I really was they just clucked and said..."You're still a baby". It was kind of funny.

I'm 21 and been mistaken as anywhere between 12 and a 'really young looking 35 year old woman' it really only bugged me once when I was on a train and some guy got really worried about me being alone without my parents.

i have mostely been mistaken for older,
i am 16 and get mistaken for 18-23 years old. even when i was 12 i had a lady think i was in college!!! but i am a scorpio, and when they are young they are mistaken for older, and when they are older they are mistaken for younger. |
I'm mistaken for someone younger all the time. When I was about 20/21 I was mistaken for a 13 year old. I'm 24 now and people are always thinking I'm younger. I'm carded a lot of places, and when I'm paying for admission they tend to start charging me the youth rate or sell me the youth bus tickets.

I've gotten both. XD Although it's usually within five years.... Someone thought I was about eighteen when I was fourteen; someone thought I was twelve last year when I was nearly eighteen. "Oh--are you in middle school or junior high?" "I'm a senior." *shrug*

Lol, yeah, that is fairly common for me as well. In fact, both of my younger sisters are taller and look older than me. I'm 23, but have been mistaken for being 18-20. It can get irritating sometimes, but I guess it won't be too bad to look younger when I'm much older! ^_^ |

I get told I look older than I really am, and then I got some crazies telling me I look a little younger than I really am... You can tell how I feel about myself lol.
