Some pretty awesome presents would include..
well, truckloads of stuff from japan, given to me by my sister since she used to live there.
And.. an MP3 player from my dad when I was little, (hey, back then it was the most awesomest thing on the planet. )
Worst presents would be anything involving clothes, or coupons.

Ooh, this thread reminded me it's my birthday in 4 days! ^__^

For my birthday last year, my parents got me a new video camera, which was awesome, and my husband got me a new clarinet, which was a really good present by his standards... on Valentine's Day he got me some frumpy pyjama bottoms, and on our first wedding anniversary he got me a breakfast tray. :/

The best present I've ever got was probably for my 18th. When my brother turned 18, he got a new car. I really had no interest at all in getting a car, so they got me a tree frog instead! ^__^

i've had some pretty neat presents .

for my "sweet 15", my mum took me to Disney World,
and to visit my dad who had just moved there,
and i thought it was pretty neat,
but while we were there,
we drove over to the airport one day,
so i thought we were going home,
and she actually flew me to new york and we stayed there for a week,
went to broadway,
went shopping in manhattan,
visited the statue of liberty, the empire state building,
and pretty much toured around the whole damn place .


it was awesome, and unexpected, haha .



other than that,
i loved getting my gaming consoles,
my computer,
my awesome and very gorgeous european bedroom set,
etc .


this year,
well,
i have yet to decide what i'm gonna ask them for,
though i love the new lg touch screen computer,
so it might be that . xD

i'm 19 after all,
not sure how far i can push it this year . :evil:

Well, you kinda can't get a car until you get your license. :XD Especially for insurance reasons. I hated getting my license, but I'm glad I got it. So accept that as a gift if they want you to get your license. >=O

My best present was probably my sister's and my car, but it wasn't reeeeeeally a present. Same for the trip to Hawaii. But I'd say my BEST present was being born. Or my laptop. =3 :XD

My worst present was one year, I got nothing but clothes. >.< Tho that was for christmas I think.

However, this year I won't even be with my family for my birthday. :'D *gonna miss that* I'm not going to be with anyone I know because I'll be on my mission to Spain, working with people I don't know, doing things people don't want to hear, but all for love. :)

Best present? My best present was when I was six months old and I have no idea who got it for me. It was a grey and white teddy bear, but he had no fur on his body, just paws and head and he wore doll clothes ^_^ I still sleep with him.

My second best...I think I was five, it was a Sindy doll. Pop star Sindy I believe? She had gold tinsel bits in her hair and a black and gold strapless rara dress straight out of the 80s!She was wonderful! My fist ever actual doll!

And on my 21st my boyfriend bought me a silver locket and bracelet with diamonds in them.

My worst present was when my grandad smacked me in the mouth when I screamed in delight over Sindy. He knocked my bloody tooth out! I don't hold grudges....

I hate when people buy things for me unless it's art supplies. I don't have much of a use for much else. I don't have much that I want because I don't use things I don't need with the exception of the computer and my MP3 player.

Why do you want a car if you don't want a license? You really need a license to get a car, because no insurance company will give insurance to a car of which the owner does not have a driving license. That reminds me of my cousin, who bought Playstation 2 games but didn't have a Playstation 2. :XD

Best presents:
- A car. It's really my mom's, but I'm allowed to use it when I need it. :) It's awesome because before the car, it took 1.5 to two hours to get to my boyfriend/fiancé by public transport, and then he had to come pick me up at the church because there's no bus to his house and walking would take approx/ an extra hour (yes, I walked there once). With the car, my travelling time is reduced from up to three hours to thirty minutes!
- A trip to Egypt for my 18th birthday, together with my mom and my aunt. I will never forget that trip, it was mind-blowing beyond words. Temples at sunset... :heart:
- A pink Care Bear teddy that sings lullabies. :XD My boyfriend gave it to me for my 17th birthday because I had severe sleeping problems because I got panic attacks at night, and he said the bear would protect me. I still hate to sleep without either Bear or Jimmy, three years and a few months after receiving the bear.

I'm happy with everything people give to me, so I rarely receive bad gifts. The only one I remember was a wall decoration given by my grandmother. It's a broom with a witch's head.

Wishes:
- An external harddisk, so I can put all my CDs on it, so I won't risk losing my music when something should happen to the CD
- Headphones for my laptop, the ones I have now are on the verge of falling apart
- A new MP3 player, because the buttons on my old one are starting to malfunction and sometimes it just freezes, won't switch on or switches itself on due to a lack of keylock
- My own house/apartment

I'm not sure about the BEST present. Not to say that I haven't gotten nice gifts, I just can't decide which was the best.

As for worst presents.... the generic gifts. You know, like the cheap soap sets and stuff. >>
My cousin's wife (would that be... cousin in law? Step cousin?) always gets me stuff like that for Christmas. She doesn't really even TRY to get something relevant to me. I mean, if she just tried and failed (like a necklace that wasn't my style or a CD of a band I didn't like) that would be okay. But soap just says "I'm not even going to guess."
And if she would just call her mother-in-law, she would tell her what I want! All of my aunts call my mom and ask her what kinds of things I want each year. So my cousin's wife could find out really easily if she wanted to. But no, instead she gets me stinky, cheap soaps and lotions that don't even work well. >>
She'd be better off just not getting me anything - I don't use the soaps. So she just wastes her money.

Hm, some of the best presents I got were a Nintendo DS, a computer(even tho its crappeh nao), piano keyboard thng, more video games, and a Monopoly pinball machine.XD
Yet, I dun really consider any of my gifts "bad ones". I feel luckeh that I can get gifts from people.To show that they care about me.>.<; Plus, I think of some people who don't get gifts from anyone at all. :C

1. Best presents you got? A doll I got when I was a kid. It's a stuffed doll except the head is plastic. I used to play make-up on it when I was a kid and then wipe it off. >_< So simple, yet ... so many memories with it. And ... a ring, when my boyfriend proposed to me (now my fiance ^_^). It's silver with a diamond on the top.

2. Worse presents you got? Well I can't say I never gotten a bad present...

I'll received a check in the mail from my grandparents for every birthday until I turned 18. And going to college, for my 18th birthday, I received a laptop which has come in hand. I think I'm going to go with the laptop being the best present that I can recall. I'm sure that when I was little, I was thrilled to receive a Polly Pocket.
