My neighborhood is mostly white, as in how you imagine the stereotypical white american, with there seeming to be a recent increase for slavic nationalities and blacks...which is a nice change except the dogs are racist...:( but if you go to the other streets around there tends to be a lot of hispanics...YAY! for cultural diversity!:insane:
The other day I did see a group of asian tourists downtown, though. |
I really don't know anything about my new neighborhood... except the the neighbors across the street from us and the ones behind us are Mexican and like playing their music ridiculously loud.
My old neighborhood was a fair mix of Mexicans and whites with a few black families scattered in. My old neighborhood was crap and full of people who sold drugs. <sarcasm> Having a swat team outside your house because they're moving in on your neighbors is lots of fun. </sarcasm> |
I live around a family who are kinda redneck and get drunk a lot and act like they are in highschool and really loud =/ and then college students that party a lot yelling OUTDOORS ugh I just want to cuss them out but I would just get shit for being 15 =/

Uhm... where I live now, it's a rich neigbourhood where people
have 2 cars and around 4 - 5 children each family, a 'happy family' neighbourhood, I kinda hate to see that. I'm white myself, but I don't mind a little color you know... My previous neighbourhood had all diferent kind of cultures, I like that better than only these rich people. They are also very arrogant. When they bring their children to school, they get the car right away, while the school is for some people just a few blocks away, and mothers realy do wait till a little spot to park their car in front of the school, cause walking is a sin... And I'm just a bit sick of this 'happy family' look around here. Can't wait to move out of my boyfriends parrents house =___=;; |

The whiteness of the teeth goes so nicely with the dark skin. I want! xP |
= 3= ummm....it's not really abnormal but in my backyard and driveway and stuff i saw 1 cat, and 2 bunnies. so far... not all at once though. xDDDD;;

I'd be fascinated if I saw /anyone/ walking by my house.
There's only the odd jogger. Because I live way out in the country. |
Where I live I hardly have a neighbor hood. xD I live in a small town in North Dakota And I live on a corner so my neighbor is a bank and a church -.-... |
Yeah so what. lol maybe they want to walk your neighborhood nowz.
|
Heh, if its not usual to see Asians in a particular neighbourhood, I suppose it would be fascinating, initially. But I think that's funny.
Where I live there are a LOT of Asians, and the majority of businesses down the closest main road is owned and run by Asians, especially Vietnamese, and I'm not just talking Asian groceries and restaurants either, I'm talking surgeries, chemists and even clothes shops. Course there are people from other backgrounds, there are just as many Caucasians in my area as there are Asians, as well as Indigenous Australians (Yes, I live in Australia) and recently there's been increasing numbers of Africans. I like the diversity, even though I don't really know anyone that isn't Asian or Caucasian. |
I think everyone just kind of blends in around where I live. All different. |
i live in a normal neighborhood not too rich and not too poor
we have like.. a lot of different people here.. mostly dutch ( i live in the netherlands ) |
Our neighborhood is pretty mixed with a lot of white people and Asians, a few Africans too (they always have the best cookies XD ) But if you go a couple blocks down it's like Chinatown ;D
And if you walk even farther it's where most of the upper class people live. And a few blocks from their is a Jewish neighborhood, and they make some outstanding sandwiches. |
How funny, right now I am the oddity where I live.
I've just moved into my sister's house located in a rather upscale/middle class family neighborhood, and am the only person I've seen between the ages of thirteen and twenty-five. I've already had a kid on a bike ask me if I was lost while taking a walk. |
