Not those bugs silly!
 

Haha I thought this was kind of silly. I was looking in the forums and then I saw bugs. I thought "Cool, most sites dont have a WHOLE section devoted to bugs" I was going to post a paragraph about my encounter with a slug not long ago =D Then right when I clicked it I knew It wasnt the bugs I thought haha. I guess I got confused cuz theres a little lady bug there ^.^ Has anyone else fallen for this? Lol

Haha, that specifically did not happen to me, but I do that sort of thing all the time! I'm one of those people who ends up witha totally different conclusion as to what something is all the time. I'm having a major brainfart at the moment, and can't think of any specific stories, though. D: *kicks self*

XD I don't think I ever did that, no, but I do think CRAZY things without evidence.

Like... Someone will be behind me saying, "LOOK WHAT I GOT! 8D" and for some reason I believed there would be a massive wedding cake behind me.

I don't know WHY I thought that. There was no talk of cakes, or food of any kind. It was a completely unprompted train of thought. But I thought it.

That sort of thing happens to me a lot. O 3O

There was this one time I was playing a game called Fish Tycoon online. It's a real-time aquarium simulation. Anyway, I went to bed then got up in the morning only to find that one of my fish (on the game) had turned a grayish-white and was lying upside down. I thought, "Hey, this is an interesting new species of fish, it's all gray! What could it be?", so I clicked on it to find what species it was and I must admit I felt pretty freakin' stupid when I found that this was no new species of fish, this was an old dead fish.

I suffer from crippling brain gas. I make mistakes like that all the freaking TIME. If it's not mixing up types of things that go by the same name (I have even done that same one you did a couple times)...it's often accidentally spelling things phonetically when I KNOW BETTER - just the other day I accidentally typed "lafter" in a chat with a couple of my friends. XD;;;; Oops.

But nothing tops when I start to forget basic English words and can remember them in 5 foreign languages first. I mean...English has never been my strong point. I do fine on tests (On most of my tests in high school, I got perfect marks), but when it comes to speaking, I SUCK. Badly. I have accepted this...but it still bothers me when I can remember how to say "wind" in five languages, none of them being my native. :sweat:

Phantom- I know how you feel. :P I'm by no means fluent in Spanish, but I've been learning it since 7th grade. I ask where stuff is in Spanish all the time, and I don't even realize I'm doing it, until my my my mom sighs and is like "Where is the what?" 'Cause she's figured out what "where is..." is in Spanish by now, just not whatever I say afterwards.

And I talk to my dogs in Spanish... unintentionally... which kind of amuses me.

I always ALWAYS have to figure out whether I'm about to say hello to my Spanish teacher in Spanish or Japanese... And I speak no Japanese. I know a few words from a friend who speaks it fluently, and that is all. And then, right after Spanish, I have English, and I am ALWAYS trying to plot my assignments out in Spanish for the first five minutes of class before I correct myself.

Just earlier today, I was trying to say 'excuse me' to get by someone in school and I could not recall how to say it in English... I could think of it in French, which I don't speak... I could think of it in Italian, which I ALSO don't speak... and I could think of it in Spanish, which I can sort of but not really speak. But I could not think of it in English.
