I don't know if this topic has been done already, but if it was, I didn't see it.

For my 20th Birthday/End of Chemotherapy, my dad bought me a brand new car. It's a 4-door 2009 Mazda3, in Stormy Blue. I named her "Mellorine" because once I saw it in the car lot, I was like "AHHH WANT *hearts for eyes*" It has really good gas mileage (28 MPG City) and driving it makes me feel liberated. Maybe it's because Mellorine is my car and not a family car. Mine. Now I know why those guys spend all their time and effort on maintaining their cars. XD

And a pic:

What kind of car do you have/want? Do you have a name for your car? Do you like your car at all or can't want to trade it in? LOL PICS?

My car is a really boxy tan(the dealership called it gold, which is a load of crap) Honda. Honestly, I hated it at first because I usually go for smoother cars, but it's grown on me. It has a sunroof which is something new for me. Also, it has headlights that can pop up or hide themselves, which you don't see a lot anymore. It's in extremely good condition for being from 1989, so I try to take good care of it. I feel like if people have taken such good care of it for 18 years, it's wrong to trash it.

It looks pretty much the same as this: http://farm1.static.flickr.com/19/96...4599ca6f92.jpg and his name is Addison.

Congrats on your new car and the end of your chemo.

My family used to have a Honda like that, except it was a light blue color and was a hatchback. [: Ah, childhood...

Thanks, by the way. :'D

I've got a '99 Saturn. It's a family hand-me-down, but I'm not disappointed with it. Still gets about 30 miles to the gallon and it hasn't given me much trouble. One of my friends nicknamed it "the Mrs." as a joke.

I hate my car. It hardly runs so it's not really much use to me. I really want a small truck of some kind, but I don't know what kind yet. I can't afford anything so I really haven't looked yet.

Mine is a 2005 Dodge Neon. I got it new and even now three years later I've barely put any miles on it because most of the places I go aren't that far off, and I've managed to take good care of it. I got in one accident with it which was someone else's fault, but at least I got it fixed and you'd never know the difference. I really love this car, it's the perfect color and while it wasn't the first choice I had in mind, I'm really happy with it. It doesn't have a name, it should! LOL. But I'm terrible at thinking of names, I'm still trying to think of a name for my new laptop I got a few weeks ago.

I don't have a car, but if I had one, I would name it Freddie because I love Freddie Mercury, but I certainly can't name my son that. If I had a son... Freddie was gay and died of AIDS and I don't want that hanging over my kid's life.

I have my own car that I bought used from one guy selling it for his daughter who had bought a new one. It's a 2000 Toyota Corolla in a nice dark green. I love it to pieces except for the fact that it needs a check-up badly and I can't quite afford a full check. In fact I'm taking it in for an oil change today... (and a brake fluid check =S)

No name for it yet though. I haven't found a good one yet.

I have a black 06 Vauxhall Vectra. I don't call it anything, because I hate it >.<
It's like a toy car, and I want it to either explode (when nobody's in it) or be stolen.
My old car was lovely and I haven't forgiven my new car for replacing it yet.

My old one is a 16 year old Peugeot 405 estate named Kevin. Kevin was lovely.
Just his age was the problem. Bits of him kept dropping off and he started rusting and turning green in random patches o_o I still have him in the car park, he has no breaks and can't do anything, but I couldn't have him towed away and turned into a cube! Not after he was so good to me. Never broke down, never had any problems (apart from when I turned corners to tightly, hit walls and his ears (side mirrors) fell off, but that wasn't his fault!
My dog likes to go and sit in him on sunny days <3

Your car looks really cool.I wish I had a car.
But no point of having one if I can't drive.

I drive the family truck >.< That thing is a beast and eats gas like no other...But It has done well for being my first car I ever drove. I do have my eye the the Miata >>;; The older one is all I could ever afford but the new one wouldn't be bad either. I would just want some thing small and easy to park after driving the beast for so many years.

My mother on the other hand keeps reminding me that the first car I wanted was a Mini-Van, and in my defense I usually end up as a driver when I have the car so the more sets I could fit people it the better >>;;;
