I think any person even slightly interested in the theme pirates has seen at least one PoTC movie. I don't think I've ever met someone who didn't know what it was, let alone seen or herd of some part to it.

"Why is the rum gone?!" and "I've got a jar of dirt~." are two quotes that I've herd from people who haven't even watched the movies, yet seen YouTube videos of scenes.


Haha. A pirate name? I have no clue!
Probably something leaning towards being active at night/being nocturnal.
As for position, it would preferably be working in the crows nest, or being a gunman.
Though, I'm more likely to be the cook or doctor on board, instead, as I'm much more knowledgeable about those sort of things.

I'd be Commander Quick-Snap Cricket, and I'd most likely be the first mate.

i gots me a good eyepatch and a gold hoop earing, and a skull bandana scarf, that i got in a pirate kit. it came with a little book o' pirate knowledge, (i'll post a bit of the quotes'n'facts later i dun't have the book wit me) i can't remmeber when 'international talk like a pirate day' is, i fail >.>

a pirate name for me,
well Cutlass Kate comes to mind, she's a character in the Vampirate book shes human.
( the Tempest twins are separated out at sea, Connor ends up with pirates but Sara i think her name was ends up with vampirates) tis a good book series, three are out and a fourth is on it's way, i'd love tah go to the pirate academy that connor ends up in the third book i think.

pirate academy would be a most fasinating school, with regular classes, along with ship skills and the always fun combat class. gotsa know how tah fight with sword and gun tis fun to be had.

Cutlass Kate is a good name but, tah be more original, I'd name myself Tsumetai XD
why not i think it's be a good pirate name since it means cold-hearted and bloodless,
i guess i'd be a bit of a evil pirate, killing without emotion muahaha

There is a girl in my school named Luz DelaCruz, so I thought that was kinda funny how similar your pirate name is to her real name.

Oh, and Tsumetai, I have read the Vampirates book. The girl's name was Grace, not Sara.

I have seen (and owned at one time before my brother decided to take movies from my house) all of the PotC movies.

I would be the poor maiden they kidnapped who ends up falling for the handsome captain. And my name would be Emma, because I like that name.

I would be Captain Diehly Wheely...errrr or Captain Diehlynater...hummm...Captain Diehlster...no no going with Captain Diehly Wheely...

My pirate name would be Ciarda, because I have a pirate character named Ciarda, and it just seems like a cool pirate name. As for a pirate nickname... Um... Sea Wolf's Tooth! 'Fang' would make more sense, probably, but, Sea Wolf's Fang isn't... pirate-y enough...And also sounds too cool for someone like me. And I would only have that name if I got to pick it. If the other pirates nicknamed me, I'd be like... Gutless Jelleyfish... Or Scurvy... or One-Eyed Urchin... Or just something that did not command any respect at all. :P

I would likely want to be first mate, because I just watched Sinbad last night, and his first mate is pretty awesome. I liked that guy. Or I'd want to be the galley cook, so I could threaten the crew with frying pans and stuff. As cool as being captain would be, especially with awesome captains like Captain Jack Sparrow from PotC, Sinbad from... Sinbad, and Captain Amelia from Treasure Planet (not a pirate, but...) to cast glamor on the postion, but I am just not a good leader. And wouldn't want to be a leader, anyway.

Ah-arg! I would be Captain Quicksword and would so be captain. >D

Since Schrodinger already claimed richest pirate, I'd be most the fearsome pirate captainess on the seven seas, because according to those I've asked I get scary when I'm mad, so it works well. o 3o

My ship (the Silent Death she would be! Or... something. I'll get back to you on that one) would be gilded with thin, stainless steel (lol) and our sails would be as pitch black as the jolly roger, which bore a skull shaped hourglass with crossed cutlasses behind it.

The loot I didn't keep would be sold to which ever country would pay more for it (lol, great idea Schrodinger! More profit for us pirates that way!), but then I would send my sexy second in command - that nobody but myself and maybe a chosen few knew! - to go steal it back so we could sell it to them again as some 'new' loot! >D

...Only I'm not sexy, but I can be if I'm a pirate. So that's okay. :P

Also, since I forgot to mention this, I'd want my ship to be named the Elizabeth Rose. (Only it wouldn't be mine, since I'm not captain, but oh well.) It doesn't strike fear into the hearts of many, but it's all sophisticated and stuff. We'd be the classiest crew ever!

Either Anne Bonney (minus the pathetic Calico Jack) or Grace O'Malley.
I think I lean to Grace O'Malley, since I don't think I'd enjoy the lovely few month stay in the Tower of London that Anne Bonney got.
But at least her pregnancy got her out of hanging, so I suppose Calico Jack was of some use to her.

Unfortunately, it would be wrong on Blackbeard.
Blackbeard met his death when he attempted to shut down a port city in North Carolina, obviously, the British had some small problem with this and sent some of the Royal Navy Fleet over and he lost, badly. His head was cut off and his body tipped overboard.
