Things you think about during Christmas
lol random title i know but i was thinking today about christmas.
its only 19 days away and it's sorta shocking during that time i wonder what i had done this year to leave an impression on the year 2008 all i know is that 2009 will be here right after christmas it's exciting! i must crazy but ya i just wanted to know what others thought |
Well first I think, God please let school let out while I still have good grades!
And then I think about the fun times I had had and the people who I havent seen for awhile and will be seeing soon. At the risk of sounding cliche, Ive always found when christmas time comes around everything seems so much funner and better just because it's christmas time. |

Sounds strange but what you said kinda made me just break out in a smile Don't you feel sad though because Christmas only lasts one day? I mean it flies by and only lasts one day. But I admitt the whole month of December is the funnest to shopping, baking, spending time with family it all leads up to that one day! It's impossible not to be happy. lol I think I just realized something |

I've been so freaking busy with school I haven't even thought about Christmas! Finals are a week away, plus some teachers teach up to the last day. I know I have one test and one quiz this week and homework on top of studying. Plus, I have after school activities every day this week. :cry: For me, the Christmas season starts on the 19th. When I'm done with finals and able to unwind. ... Did I mention that I'm only a sophomore in high school? |
I think that on Christmas Day i will go will my temple to the hospital and sing holiday songs..nothing else to do right??:sweat:

Has it snowed or is there snow on the ground where you live? I'm only asking cause there isn't any here. |
I think about bowling with friends and exchanging little homemade gifts and treats with them. We get out for vacation on the 19th here and I can't wait.
It's definitely not snowing here. I live in Florida and on some days in winter, we can go out without a jacket. |
Sometimes I wished that I could live in Florida. But when Christmas comes around I think that I couldn't live without snow.

It's nice here because I like the beach, but the humidity makes you feel gross. It's not nearly as Christmas-sy as snow either. I've only seen snow once in New Mexico.

The fact that its one day also makes it great too
Its like all that excitement just builds up and explodes on that day xD Or well, it did when you were little. Once I got older it was more like, Oh cool thanks, Ok you go play with your stuff and Im gonna try out this new video game until we go see family. Its snowed here once when I was little and I cant even really remember it. The only reason Ive seen snow now is since I entered High school Ive picked up snowboarding even though I have to travel to do it. Unfortunately sometimes its mostly fake snow since I cant really go when the snow is fresh etc. |

The only sharks I've seen were at Seaworld.

- Man, I can't believe I only get 2 weeks off. - Gotta apply for universities and stuff, what am I going to do with the rest of my life? - Send presents to distant relatives.. - What I should do better the next year |

Presents and parties. My best friend, my boyfriend, a number of my close friends and I also have our birthdays very close to Christmas, so it's definitely a time of gift-giving and presents for me. XD"

18 days now. ugh. i'm so broke and i haven't bought anyone christmas presents yet. :C
i usually think about how snow days never seem to happen anymore, or how much i wanna make a snowman~ this year i wanna try to make a penguin-shaped snowman in memory of my friend heather. :'D she liked penguins. so hopefully we get enough snow. uhhh. i think about going to this town called red bank (it's in new jersey. y'know that church from the movie dogma with jay and silent bob in it? that's in red bank), because it brings back memories of christmas when times were good money-wise. and i like walking around downtown, getting hot chocolate and stuff. so yeah. that's what i think about around christmas. |
