Kah Hilzin-Ec- With us it's 20 Days is a suspension, 30 is an expulsion. Though, I'd rather clean my house of one floor than go to school.

If I did that, I might as well just not go to bed in the first place. o 3o

I didn't do it before, but it's senior year and I already got into the college I want to go to in early september. Thus, I don't really care. : D
Yaaay, senioritis.

But prior to that, I had perfect attendance minus a couple days where I had the flu. : )

we get 20% off of our grades for being absent 6 times in a marking period without a note.
they're not very strict about it, though.

I tried being Pastafarian once, but it didn't work out. I didn't really know what I was supposed to do. I mean, I know it's a pirate religion, and the FSM is made of the two meatballs, the sauce, and his noodly appendages, but I really have no idea what I'm supposed to do about it.

Chibi- I'm sick a lot. Like, actually sick. To the point my parents don't believe me anymore. So, when I skip, I usually do have a reason. Though, if I gave half a damn about my grades, I wouldn't be skipping. ;D

I'm an insomniac, also. Doctor agreed with me on it. So, I don't have the choice of sleeping a lot.

squidbutt- Works like a charm for me.

Tut'ankhamun- You just go ahead and believe that Pirates aren't all that bad, but Christians made them out to be worse than they are. They really gave out candy to children. Not pillage villages. You also have to believe that the FSM created the mountains, the trees, and a midget.

Other than that, you just kinda be an atheist.

Ah, well, I never knew that Christians made pirates sound bad. I just thought it was the ninja that did that. I, personally, am strictly a pirate. I can't stand ninjas.



Oh, and as far as skipping class goes, I dont really know how many it takes before we're suspended.

It's common knowledge at my school about how many times it takes to get suspended. I live near a rich city (White Rock,) so a lot of the people at my school have tons of cash, so they really don't need to go through school to live a good life. They found it out for everyone else.

A lot of people at my school skip and do drugs and stuff.

Kitsune- I just ignore the drugs. I skip to get a soda, or just sit on my ass.

Well, I'm sure it's common knowledge at my school for most people, except that I'm kinda a goody-goody and havent really ever gotten in trouble, so thats why I dont know how many it takes to get suspended.

Most of teh kids at my school do drugs. I'm one of the few who don't [being the goody-goody that I am]. One of my best friends, my husband actually, is a druggie. (He's not really my husband. Just one of those stupid school marriages.)

When I do skip, it's just to go down to the middle school and hang out with my choir teacher.

I use to skip quite often. Never understood how I never had detention or anything either.

I NEVER skip work... Even if I'm sick and dying. D; *is so poor*

I skip school when I'm depressed... cuz than I can't concentrate in class.
Let me clarify, I'm in college so I do whatever I feel like...
When I was in high school I was NEVER absent... (dad was a hardass).

I skip classes when I've got too much work for another class, and the class I'm skipping has everything explained in the syllabus. If it's a class for which we don't get a syllabus (or a largely incomplete one), I only skip it when I'm too sick to attend class.

Skipping work? Only when I feel really ill or have too much school work, I need the money too badly :XD I haven't got a job right now, though, so I can devote all of my time to school.

Volucria- That's the reason I don't skip work, too. Especially with Christmas coming up.

If I ever skipped work I'd probably get fired. I'm a hard enough worker that I hate skipping out on work just because I know what it does to my co-workers and I actually LIKE the people I work with. On top of that when you've got a family to support you really CAN'T afford to skip work just because you feel like it. About the only times I don't show up for work is when i'm too sick to make it in. Even then I'll usually show up anyway, just with LOTS of meds to get me through the day. I have benedryl today because I've been coughing. Though it's maknig me sleepy and that's no fun.

Always. I usually go for mornings or one or two classes and then take off. Mostly I'm good, but I usually miss at least 2 classes per week.

You can't keep me in that place for a whole school year. I don't care how bad my attendance looks. :/ My parents don't care as long as I keep my grades up. My brother did the same thing.

I don't skip work, because it looks bad on me and it was my choice to get a job in the first place.

Sometimes, I just want to forget how boring my life is, sometimes I just don't feel well. So I skip classes, but the days I skip the whole schedule are rare. And these days will be much rarer when I actually get a job. That's all I'm going to say.

Same here. I actually don't skip that often just for the sake of skipping. Either I heard some awful news, or I can hardly move because I'm tired or sick. I haven't skipped in awhile, either.

im not seriously bad about skipping but i have cut classes a few times--lol
