Plum pudding should be made ILLEGAL
I absolutely DETEST plum pudding...
Not only does it taste gross but it sits in rum for months! Ewww. And therefore it should be illegal. If you could make a food you hate illegal, what would it be? Do you like plum pudding? |
Brussels sprouts. D:< My mom loves them, I think they're gross. There are various other kinds of cooked vegetables that I can't stand. Raw veggies are good, cooked veggies in soup are good, cooked veggies somehow made fancy can be nice too, but my mom usually just cooks them and plumps them on our plate, together with some boiled potatoes and a piece of meat. A nice sauce, or even rice instead of potatoes would do wonders... but no.

I've never had plum pudding before, but it doesn't sound too exciting. I have to agree about brussel sprouts though.
There's only one food that I'd like outlawed and that's guacamole dip. There are lots of other foods that I don't like, but it seems like I've had to deal with guacamole constantly ( from people saying "are you sure you don't like it? here try this kind" to mexican restraunts serving it on my food without it being mentioned on the menu). My life would just be easier if guacamole dip wasn't around :p. |
@Vol: Haha, I find it hilarious how people vary so much with brussel sprouts.
I personally love them, cuz they're salty and delicious tasting. <3333 hehe. Yeah, I love rice, but I eat it everyday cuz I'm allergic to wheat, so I'm kinda tired of it. I know what you mean, if you eat potatoes all the time it becomes boring... @juniper: Plum pudding is an English dish... My grandma makes it for Christmas and EVERYONE has to eat it or you get bad luck for the next yr (bs really). I think the whole 'bad luck' thing was made up to make me eat that crap. >< Ewww.. Nuuu, I LOVE guacamole. D: I think its cuz so many people love it that they probably don't understand why you don't... Yes, the mexicans absolutely love it. hahaha. |
That does seem like an evil scheme to force you to eat something you hate. So do people get bad luck if they don't make it for Christmas or just if they don't eat it once it's made?
Yeah, I've never met anyone else who hates guacamole. I guess there's something wrong with my tastebuds xD. |
@juniper: Its only bad luck if you're with the family and REFUSE to consume of the 'holy' plum pudding... Fortunately, this yr I cannot make it for the festivities, because I cannot afford a plane ticket to england and thats where my relatives are gathering this yr, so I don't have to eat it! ^^ yay!
*shrug* I dunno... We're all different. Heck, I LOVE eel with cucumbers and guacamole... People say my taste buds are whack too. Lol. |
...it sure SOUNDS good...
And one word: ZUCCHINI. YECH. Or CREAMED SPINACH. DOUBLE YECH. Also: I AGREE WITH THE GUAC COMMENT. Yucko. |
Oh wow, I'm not the only person in the world who hates guacamole. I feel less alone now :D
Eel? I've never had that before (and in all probability won't since I'm a vegetarian). What's it taste like? |
I love guacamole, no outlawing it! I can't say I've had plum pudding, but I do like rum though! But I digress...
If I had to outlaw any food, it would be any pizza other than cheese or cheese and pepperoni. Can't go around mucking up pizza with mushrooms and sausage and other such crap (that shouldn't be on a pizza). |
I've never had plum pudding before nor do I want to. I wouldn't really ban any food. I don't like a lot of things, but there are a lot of people that do.
|
I don't even know what plum pudding is.
As for the food I'd like to ban, it is artichokes. I've had one too many of them forced down my mouth despite their gross taste when I was a wee little girl. |
PLum pudding doesn't sound too good.
I like guacamole. I'm not sure what I'd ban. I can't think of anything I don't like. |
I have never tried plum pudding but it sounds unappetizing.
As for the food I would ban, I would get rid of durian. It's this thorny fruit with a smelly pulp on the inside. I could never eat it. Eating it feels like you're chewing ... ice-cream? xD I don't know. I've never liked it. AND FOOD FROM MCDONALDS. It makes people/me fat. ;___; |
I've never had Plum Pudding either, but I know some pudding is good.. so.. I won't judge it till I've tried it ^.^
Cherries should be illegal! (I don't like them, sorry! :() You really can't understand how many different types of food people HIDE cherries in! Pies, Cookies, Cakes, everything that looks delicious harbors a dangerous cherry for me >.> |
i don't believe i've ever had plum pudding before
|
I don't know if there is a specific food that I would want to ban. There are so many foods that I used to hate that I now love, so I like to keep my options open open open. :D
For example, I used to hate zucchini a lot, but now it's my favorite vegetable! If I were going to outlaw food though, I would want to outlaw junk food. All of it. >__< |

And mushrooms D:< And those hawaiian pizzas that have ham and pineapple, srsly, EWW. I like ham, and I like pineapple, but eating them together is like eating fried chicken with milk. Total eww! PS: And some other vegetables whose names are so rare in spanish I don't know them in english. |

:) Nice to meet you, fellow guacamole hater. |
I love plum pudding. Not that it's my favorite food or anything. I used to make it with my grandmother. It's one recipe I can remember by heart. My great grandfather made a nice wooden plaque with the recipe on it. It's my favorite holiday memory.
As for foods I dislike, mostly anything really spicy, and fish. Not seafood, I love lobster and other shellfish. |

I've never had plum pudding. I don't even really know what's in it... I would ban... soy sauce. The smell alone makes me gag. I can't stand it. |
Beans! I can't stand beans, and I can't understand why anyone would like them! They've got such a bland taste, but it's not like you can't taste them! It's an overpoweringly bland taste...so whatever else you're eating, all of a sudden it's overpowered by beans!!
It feels like you've got cotton in your mouth! ..this is beans like, the kind served with Mexican food. It invades my burritos!! D: |

I guess what I meant is factory food, things that have been manufactured and have no nutritional value, like diet soda and twinkies. |
Food.

Gelitan. Everything has it in it and it's annoying how many things I can't eat because comapnies feel the need to put it in everything. It can be replaced with non animal products too, which makes it more annoying.
