my favorite holiday is probably new years eve:first u get 2 stay up as late as u want.second u get 2 light off fireworks!yay!!!

My favorite holiday happens to be Halloween, but Christmas isn't that far behind. Halloween is just so...fun! And I enjoy the dark tones to it.

I work for the post office and Christmas is my least favorite holiday, we are so busy we don't have time to really enjoy the season. Tax time is next on the list. I like thanksgiving because of all the food. I love turkey and all the leftovers. I like any holiday when I get a day off. dreamer

Halloween is my favorite holiday. I loved to dress up and scare people in the haunted houses I volunteered at.

Unfortunately, it has gotten pretty crappy in the past few years. I'm too old to go trick or treating without having to listen to some lecture about how I shouldn't do it at my age. D= On top of that, no one wants to have Halloween parties. I tried to organize one last year, but it didn't work out. And this year, they decided not to have the haunted house too! It really sucked. It's like this town is sucking all of the life out of people. No one wants to do anything. =/

I know what you mean about the cold too. The heater in my room is broken so I'm practically freezing to death at night. xD It sucks. Christmas is probably my second favorite holiday. I like putting up the decorations with my mom. Driving around and looking at everyone else's decorations is nice too. All the bright colors can really make my day better.

I guess I really like all of the holidays. I'll take any excuse to celebrate! xD

Wow, talk about Halloween versus Christmas thread. That's why they made 'Nightmare Before Christmas' - to combine the best two holidays. ^_^ Most other holidays just fall away, not much else is as widely celebrated in several countries. But I support Halloween, all the way! It's not just the candy, is the thrill!

Though... I wish it happened earlier in the year... global warming my butt, its freezing at Halloween! I swear it wasn't so cold when I was a little kid. Am I just immune now? @[email protected]

Halloween, but I wish I lived in an area where the kids trick-or-treated. Kind of sucks holding a bowl full of candy when people are too weird about the holiday.

I really like Christmas, even though it's a commercial holiday. There's still some genuine spirit around this time of year, and who doesn't love presents? X3

I'd have to say my second favorite is the Chinese New Year, but I haven't really authentically celebrated it yet because it's not officially recognized in the US. *sigh*

Halloween XD

Christmas would be my favorite.
Because:
1. Lots of things happen in Christmas.
2. The whole family celebrates together with cousins and other relatives.
3. I get presents.
4. There are lots of food.
5. Its 6 days after my birthday.

i don't have a favourite holiday. i think if we celebrated here in australia, i'd totally be addicted and into halloween, but since we don't, i can't really get into it. i like christmas for the lights and the carols (i'm such a loser!) but other than that, everything else is just a day off! oh. i guess i like australia day. it's always fun and barbeques and beer and good friends and loud music and stuff. yeah. that's probably my favourite.

I have always been unsure of this. It used to be Halloween when I was a child but I think it's Christmas now.

New Year so far. Because really, halloween, we don`t celebrate in this country. Christmas? :| it's rare to me to get presents.
