My personal opinion is yes, there is a soul.
I believe since I've had a ghost experience...
And therefore believe that we all have something inside us that is invisible and strange as it sounds, can become a ghost if left unchecked.

I believe it does.

But I also don't see a soul as 'me'. I see it as there is the mind, and soul. The body/mind is there to lead the soul somewhere. Then we die, once the leading has lead somewhere.

Better or worse, I suppose.
But most answers are going to depend on religion, too.

i believe we have a soul. I believe it is that soul's choice of where it goes when it dies as in to pass on or reincarnate. You do evil you're done for. Buh bye. ^-^

I also believe animals have souls. ^-^

The real answer has nothing to do with religion....
Ghost don't have a religion... They just are. I think people have a clouded judgement because of religious oversight.

Thats cool. I believe since humans are animals too, that yes other animals most likely have souls... ^^

I believe souls exist, but that they are limited by the capabilities of the body they inhabit while alive. While 'free', I believe they have the comprehension that they have acquired through thier lives, but the means to communicate is much much more ... limited.

Ehe, no. I don't think it's really 'carried' anywhere, but the brain makes us. The soul is kinda what makes us run, but in the end we just get it somewhere. That's probably worse than my first explanation. If only you could have seen all the hand motions I was Imagining. xD

I think religion would be involved for some, but you may be right. I'm not very religious though.

Well, science can't prove people have a soul, but it can't prove that people can think either. Ignoring this, though, I completely believe people have soul; What else would the demons devour when they're unleashed upon the earth accidentally by an old man when he trips over an ancient seal and in a fit of anger removes it from it's place of rest....?

I think there is.
It would be quite hard to make shoes without them. =)
But really I think we all have 'souls'. Not quite sure if I beleive in ghosts though.
