The only time I have sleeping trouble is if I try to go to bed early.
See, my circadian rhythm is so terrible that I actually CAN'T go to sleep at a "reasonable hour." If I sleep before around 2:00 AM, I'll be waking up and tossing and turning all night. I wake up at 3:00 AM like a charm. Of course, I can nap easily during the day... but it seems like once 9:00 rolls around, I'm wide awake, even if I've been falling asleep all day. It's weird. I don't dare touch sleeping pills, though. I already sleep 10+ hours if given the chance. I used to be on sleeping pills (not by choice) and they'd make me sleep ALL DAY. Literally. |
Hmm. I rarely have nightmares. I haven't had one in probably a year. I am really warm when I'm sleeping which helps have a good or no dream. (Cold temperatures actually increase risks of nightmares.)
I stay up all night when trying to beat a video game or if I'm watching a good movie or something like that. |
I had an interesting dream the other night, if that counts..
I had a dream I was driving in the snow and I ended up at this building with the people who were organizing the fundraising dinner for my friend's memorial scholarship foundation. She was killed last August when a man purposely drove through the front of a Japanese restaurant which also killed one other woman and gave a seven year old boy permanent brain damage. She was only nineteen. If you look up "Halu Sushi" on Google you'll see the story, first thing. Anyways, I was talking with the women, except it was a really good dream because Maija-Liisa was there, and alive. I was talking to her about different things, like how much her sister misses her, and how hard it's been at the dance studio and random tidbits of gossip, etc. Only me and another girl could see her, though, and her sister was walknig around and I wanted to tell her that her sister was there watching over her and caring for her. It was a good dream, I wish I had ones like that more often. |
