@Jeanie - Yay! Rammstein is awesome ^-^

@Suona - >.<; You're just a jerk

Suona 01-06-2009 12:37 AM

@ Undead - *points to results* I beg to differ! lol

27UndeadMen 01-06-2009 12:38 AM

@Suona - xD This quiz makes me feel like an awful person

Walkyrje 01-06-2009 12:39 AM

To quote Mal, "Oh, hell, I'm partial to all seven."

But I don't actually believe in sin.

Suona 01-06-2009 12:40 AM

lol Don't worry about it.
I'm just broken, remember?

27UndeadMen 01-06-2009 12:43 AM

Haha...true...

@Walkyrje - what do you mean?

Annalesia 01-06-2009 12:48 AM

I know what you mean. I feel like an awful person.

Jeanie 01-06-2009 12:50 AM

I feel fine. :XD No worse than usual. Though the seven deadly sins don't really mean that much to me.

Suona 01-06-2009 12:51 AM

Uhm. I don't feel worse about it. lol
Kind of just confirmed mostly what I figured.

27UndeadMen 01-06-2009 12:52 AM

Well, it's not like I feel awful because I think I'm going to hell, I just thought I was an ok person, but this says otherwise lol.

I mean that sin is a concept dreamed up by the Christian patriarchy to keep people in line. Look at the list of 'sins,' and you'll see things that run the entire gamut of things from those that really hurt no one, to those that only hurt the person doing them, to those that hurt others, and those which hurt society in general.

I choose to evaluate my behavior not on external standards, but based on who's being helped or hurt by it. If I choose, for instance, to make a New Year's resolution to have sex with a different girl each month of 2009, that's two sins by standard reckoning... first, that I'm planing to have sex with people who look too much like me, and secondly, that I'm planning to sleep around!

But who am I really hurting? Presuming that everyone involved is willing, that appropriate safer sex practices are used, and no one gets too emotionally involved and gets hurt that way, I would say I'm hurting no one... and maybe helping a dozen girls and, yes, me!

Captain Howdy 01-06-2009 12:55 AM

Here's mine. ;D
Even in terms of vice there seems to be nothing outstanding about me. ;B

Actually, that's a very good point. I've never looked at it that way before.
To me it just seems that the sins are only sins when they are taken in excess or to an extreme. Your example shows that maybe it could be considered extreme, but, as you said, provided all the conditions you've listed, it's still not really a sin. Now, I might count it as a sin if you were sleeping with all the girls and telling each one you loved them just to get into their pants. That, to me, makes it wrong.

Suona 01-06-2009 01:02 AM

I love how religious twits are worse people than I am. Ah-haha

Take a look at why it's a sin in your eyes, though. Isn't it because I would have set up conditions for someone to get hurt? If I said that, and she believed it, and then discovered that it wasn't true, there's at least a potential, and even a probability, of her suffering emotional distress.

xD Nice. I hate to say around so many people that might be super-religious, but in my opinion it's often true >.>

Suona 01-06-2009 01:10 AM

@ Undead - Yup. No one is perfect. We're all just a bunch of hypocrites, whether we accept it or not.

Lol. I love being home alone. *bounces around the house*

Yes, that's true. I think that there may be a need to reevaluate what, exactly, sins are. We haven't even touched but one of the sins so far.

@Suona - True indeed.

xD Me too. I'm not anymore but I was like all day. It was cold though. We didn't have any heat until like 4:30 D:

Jeanie 01-06-2009 01:14 AM

I don't think sins were entirely thought out when they were first made, to be honest.

Suona 01-06-2009 01:16 AM

Yeah, its pretty cold. And it doesn't help I'm still in my pjs.
I really need to start wearing warmer pjs

27UndeadMen 01-06-2009 01:17 AM

@Jeanie - It makes sense to think that. I mean, it was during a horrible time that Christianity and all its counterparts came about.

@Suona - Yeah me too. Kye came over and brought his heater though =^-^= so I holed up in the office with the heater and computer to warm me up. I actually got warm enough to take my jacket off o.O

Actually, that wasn't surprising. : /
I'm already aware I'm rather lazy, and I don't really lust after people so it's pretty normal and fits my personality fine.

Suona 01-06-2009 01:22 AM

lol Its really cold and I'm still in little pjs
I'm moving around enough that it isn't too bad, though.
